Manual of Style The Manual of Style, or MoS, outlines the format and guidelines of all images on Bulbagarden Archives. List of Admins All of our administrators are here to help! Talk to them if you have any questions or problems with the Archives. Tagging Guidelines Tagging images with correct licenses and categories is a must. These guidelines will help you learn more about tagging images.

Miscellaneous Please read the checklist when you upload media files. The checklist is there to make sure you are doing everything necessary when uploading said media files. Be sure to tag and categorize all images. This helps organize the vast amount of images we have here. Check if your image already exists by searching through categories, and Bulbapedia pages. This action will help prevent unnecessary duplicates from appearing. When adding a licensing tag to anime or game screenshots, please avoid just choosing "Screenshot". This is not descriptive and places the images in the wrong category. Make sure to choose "Screenshot from a Pokémon game," or "Screenshot from the Pokémon anime." This will put them in the right categories, and help keep the Archives clean. Does your image have a purpose? Will you be using it on a Bulbagarden Project? Avoid uploading images because you think they are "Cute" or "Awesome". That clutters the Archives. Personal images are limited to two for each User. Personal images include personal logos, personal trainer sprites, drawings, trainer cards and mostly any image that would only be used in the User: namespace and have no encyclopedic value to Bulbagarden and its affiliates. Please tag these with the {{i-Personal}} template for easier organization. Under no circumstance should a photograph of one's self ever be uploaded onto Bulbagarden Archives. In addition, please upload images with meaningful names. Names that are just numbers, for example, do not describe anything about the image, and can make it difficult for searchers. Names are just as important as licenses and categories, so make them descriptive. Please be sure that the filenames contain alphanumeric characters only. Due to the many automated templates used on the wiki, lowercase extensions are imperative. That means jpg and png instead of JPG and PNG. It looks cleaner, it works better, and it does not cause any problems. Make sure to always use lowercase extensions. If you're confused about the requirements for uploading files, have a look at this guide.

Regarding transparency...

If a file needs transparency, please add {{Transparency needed}} in order to notify others to transparentize the said file. ^ht14 03:18, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

Tall Grass sprites for Spring and Summer

A quick note

Logos on pics

Halsey images

Can you upload a 1280×720 version of File:Halsey Dewott.png to match the other pics? I believe File:Halsey Watchog.png should be fixed since the image is just showing the head. By the way, what do you mean when you say temporary in some of your uploads? Pattyman (talk) 04:09, 29 June 2013 (UTC)

Clair's Dragonite

Ash Pikachu Thunder.png

I thought that since the images of Ash's Charizard's Fire Spin and Dragonite's Outrage have been updated thanks to the flashbacks in BW136, could you upload an updated version of Ash's Pikachu using Thunder as well? BW130 errors

http://archives.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:BW130_error_2.png look carefully at this one, Ash's eyes are brown here. And http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:BW130_error_6.png its eye is on wrong place added. It should look like this http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:Metapod_anime.png. I like that someone else is finding some errors included in BW episodes. Question

So where did you find things like this anyway? There seems to be a number of Unova routes that still need these images, and I'm looking to add them, but the only maps I've even come across are using Spiky's DS Map Editor, which is really not good for getting images of the maps.
