Well... Raticate also has this sprite so it can't be dog-like (other are Typhlosion, Arcanine, Suicune and Raikou). Any idea for other name? Marked +-+-+ 18:23, 2 April 2012 (UTC)

Dog is fine. Not all Pokémon covered by the Gen I "Rhydon-like" menu sprite really resemble Rhydon in any way. The general terms are going to be difficult to pick & potentially a little off for a few cases. Now this looks more like canine, since Eevee line (fox-like), Meowth line (cat-like) and many dog-like lines have this sprite. So far the only non-canine Pokémon with this menu sprite were Rattata and Raticate. Marked +-+-+ 10:52, 3 April 2012 (UTC)
