That's because the sprites aren't centered. In-game, they usually are all at the ground level (except flying Pokémon). All sprites ripped by me are the same way as they are in the game ROMs. Sure, the centered sprites look better in BP templates and sprite tables, I don't know if we should prefer either style over another. Hope this answered your question :] UltimateSephiroth 12:27, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
:It does, thank you. Personally, I think we should prefer the centered version (except for backsprites), since they're easier to do and look better, but it seems that there are established de facto standards for the different generations, anyway. -- Socob ( Talk | Contribs ) 12:32, 26 September 2009 (UTC)

About your alternate-color Emerald sprite plan...

We would prefer if you ripped the alternate-color Emerald sprites directly, rather than simply recolor the normal-color ones. However, yes, alternate-color sprites do have the same animation as their normal-color counterparts (this applies to not just Emerald, but also Crystal and Generation IV as well). --Shiningpikablu252 22:13, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

That's good to hear. I would be interested as to why a direct rip is preferrable simply because that'd be a lot more time-consuming. I wouldn't really know why apart from the fact that I'd maybe copy mistakes in the images along with the images themselves. I do pay close attention to the images I'm editing, though. --Socob 22:22, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

About GSC sprites...

Thank You by helping by loading them and fix them. But, can you upload the sprites by 60x60 size not 56x56 because the 60x60 size the Sprize size we want for Sprites from Generation II. --Coolピカチュウ! 23:53, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

There seems to be some kind of mix-up around... see the image I just uploaded for the proof that 56x56 is the correct size:

IDK how the administrators have got the idea that the correct size is 60x60... Although I haven't got the chance to inform TTEchidna about this yet at the BP (will try here on Archives, if his TP is not locked), so I think it'd be best to wait what happens.
