Do you think that you could remove the black background from that image? --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 00:08, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

Where

Where did you get those recent card images? Maverick Nate 11:54, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

tutorial-ish

Choose only one category for each sprite from the list below.

Pokémon Red and Blue sprites
Pokémon Red and Green sprites
Pokémon Yellow sprites
Pokémon Crystal sprites
Pokémon Silver sprites
Pokémon Gold sprites
Pokémon Emerald sprites
Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen sprites
Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire sprites
Pokémon Diamond and Pearl sprites
Pokémon Platinum sprites
Generation I back sprites
Generation II back sprites
Generation III back sprites
Generation IV back sprites

Only one of the above should fit, so, the pokemon name and this one category from the list, and you should be fine. But make sure you tag the image appropriatly (I think the tag should say something like sprite from game). Maverick Nate 04:01, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

What?

Umm, how do I "sicken" you? Chocolate 21:26, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

HQ images

I take it you found my post on the forums?--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 12:05, 20 June 2009 (UTC)

No?--Coolピカチュウ! 20:16, 20 June 2009 (UTC)
Oh... where did you get them from?--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 20:36, 20 June 2009 (UTC)
Some french site Sketche showed must of been yours.--Coolピカチュウ! 06:14, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

Welcoming

Try to only welcome people once they contribute somehow. I don't want the archives to become a mess of welcomes like the wiki is. MaverickNate 14:47, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

GSC sprite size

Hi and thanks for the information, I wasn't aware that the sprite size guidelines had changed since the Manual of Style said otherwise until yesterday. It would've been nice to know that sooner since I actually actively resized Generation II sprites to 56x56, but oh well. I'm just curious, is there any reason why this has been changed? -- Socob ( Talk | Contribs ) 12:43, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

I would ask any higher up than me like Maverick Nate or Kogoro they might know better than me. --Coolピカチュウ! 21:14, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

Just in case you haven't noticed yet, the sprite size for Generation II sprites is supposed to be 56x56 again ;-) http://archives.bulbagarden.net/wiki/User_talk:TTEchidna#Sprite_sizes -- Socob ( Talk | Contribs ) 15:11, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

Hell

It's so bad that you deleted the File:AshMonferno.png. It was a perfect example of an admin crime. Now it's gone. You just defended one of the most harmful people on Bulbagarden. --Maxim 15:01, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Winona

The October 5 one looks better. Why'd you change it back to the crappy looking one? MaverickNate 00:52, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

Either anime art or was badly surface blurred.--Mew a.k.a. Immewnity 01:09, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
What he said it looked way too similar to anime art and it doesn't look like Sugimori drew it though it is the same pose. Also look closely at the style and compare it to the scan art. Sugimori has a style with colours the "new" one doesn't have that style. --Coolピカチュウ! 01:51, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

Candidates for moving

Can you move all the PBR sprites? Thanks. ht14 22:50, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

Sure. But do you have a link to make it easier? --Coolピカチュウ! 22:51, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
Looks like I'll be doing it, but should I handle the jpgs? ht14 01:54, 12 November 2009 (UTC)
Seems there's use for them. Just leave them as is or ask Mav. --Coolピカチュウ! 08:50, 12 November 2009 (UTC)

Maps

How did you make those awesome HeartGold/SoulSilver maps? :D Teeth

*cough* =D. That's basically it. --Coolピカチュウ! 00:17, 27 January 2010 (UTC)

Um, what? Yo puedo habar en español también por que tu inglés no se te entiende. --Coolピカチュウ! 23:25, 6 March 2010 (UTC)

FANKIT-Nintendo

Make sure to crop the images from there, as they have loads of white space. I'll get the Pokémon artwork.--immewnitythemew 02:37, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

M'kay. --Coolピカチュウ! 23:14, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
I see you got 2 Pokémon; but you still didn't crop! Use Paint.NET to get pixel-perfect crops.--immewnitythemew 18:27, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
I did crop them if I recall correctly. --Coolピカチュウ! 22:46, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
Celebi was okay, but Typhlosion not so much. See File:157Typhlosion.png.--immewnitythemew 16:41, 18 April 2010 (UTC)

HALP PLZ

I know from watching you tirelessly rip maps from HGSS that you're really good at ripping images. Is there a possibility you could help me by ripping the mail screens from Generations II and III? I can't find them anywhere on the internet except Serebii's ItemDex, and I know we can't use that, so if you could manage to get the wiki our own copies of these images it'd be much appreciated. --AndyPKMN 16:05, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

Sure, I'll get them. --Coolピカチュウ! 02:12, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

Template

Can you help me with the usage of Template:Color in {{signmap}}? That way the words don't look so blurred. ht14 02:42, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

I can try I'm not that good with coding. Though it look fine on my end.--Coolピカチュウ! 06:54, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

About that undo...

I don't understand why. Numerous images have bad image tags based on incorrect sizing. For example:
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:Tweaking_Glitch.PNG
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:Newbattlefrontier.JPG
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:VeilstoneCityIngame.png <--- This one, I assume it's because of size. I could be wrong.
Also here, http://archives.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:Howl_III.png, which I admit, I put the bad image tag on it. Jello, having edited the page after I did, did not make any complaints.
I guess my real question is: when does the point come when we can ignore an incorrect size or not? --+ Joeshie + (is Me!) 08:32, 27 November 2010 (UTC)

Images like Newbattlefrontier.JPG is an exception as it is from a pre-release screenshot and is in no possible way to get it larger. Tweaking_Glitch.PNG was taking from a camera and resized (so a in-game one should replace it), VeilstoneCityIngame.png: I have no idea on these image stands for maps like that. Howl_III.png looks like an alright image. My point is, we can't get bigger pre-release images unless get we them (do you get what I mean?) As for the other images it all varies what the image is and what it is for. It's a bit tricky to explain. --Coolピカチュウ! 08:38, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
Ahh I didn't know that the new battle frontier image was prerelease. And yeah I understand what you mean by saying that what we have for prerelease is what we have. But still, if the purpose is for showing strength in the field, then we should get a gif or apng version of it right? <-- completely unrelated to my prior statements xD. --+ Joeshie + (is Me!) 08:46, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, APNG version would be nice but we'll have to bear with the static png for now ^^;. --Coolピカチュウ! 09:12, 27 November 2010 (UTC)

RE: Mapas BW

Only using "Screenshots" of the game (I use the button that says "Impr. Pant.") when running the emulator and I have to put the hour from 13:00 to 14:59. I'm now doing all the season maps of Route 1, but only editing the colors from the winter one. Also, I have some tiles (the trees, tall grass, sand, rocks and gate) separately because these textures are the same in the map. I also make sure that all the tiles that I put have exactly the same size. --Gabo 2oo 15:54, 31 December 2010 (UTC)

Sounds complicated as the camera of the game is "curved." --Coolピカチュウ! 21:37, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
But i do them "tile" by "tile", I only take the part of the texture that is front of the player, then, I step to other part and I take the other texture, that's why it takes too much time, but now I have some "caps" separately, for examle, the grass (not the tall one, the grass without Pokémon) and the water, so i'm doing the maps a little faster.
