Make sure that each image you upload has lowercase extensions. Also put categories on the pages please. Maverick Nate 03:13, 2 June 2009 (UTC)

..(Serebii)? Are those images taken from Kevzo8 06:05, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

Yeah. Done via Microsoft FrontPage... Ht14 12:37, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
Did you ask for permission? We could get in trouble with Serebii for taking their screenshots from them without permission. Kevzo8 14:33, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
...good point...I'll stop for now...what should I do though? Regarding asking Serebii I mean... ht14 14:36, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
Uh, that's a problem. It's either you take the screenshots by yourself or ask Serebii about it then give credits to his site. Kevzo8 14:55, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
I'll do the latter...only...I dunno how to reach him... ht14 14:56, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
He's always lurking on forums. He seems to be a nice person though. Kevzo8 15:03, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
Ok...or I'll email him... ht14 15:04, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
He said it's fine. ht14 16:02, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
Credit them correctly though: for example, look at "File:Falkner.PNG". Maverick Nate 21:41, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

Get rid of the old template and license properly with {{i-Fairuse-sprite-game}}. Otherwise it's categorized wrong. Don't forget section headers for licence and summary. —darklordtrom 04:58, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

K. ht14 04:59, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

Can't move jpg files to png filenames. —darklordtrom 02:47, 2 October 2009 (UTC)

True... how about jpg to jpg? As in <whatever the user called it>.jpg to Spinner_gen_4.jpg? ht14 02:49, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
In case you didn't know, jpg images cannot be made transparent... unfortunately... —darklordtrom 07:49, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
That's unfortunate... ht14 21:05, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

Follow it. MaverickNate 21:01, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

The summary is simply the article's name, and there are never spaces in between licensing and categories. MaverickNate 21:02, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
Uh oh... I've always been doing that for practically EVERY single image edit... ht14 21:03, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
I'm talking about the spacing. This means game images. ht14 21:05, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
Just start doing it from now on. It doesn't really matter. MaverickNate 22:02, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
Ok then. ht14 23:15, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
Question: should I revert all from the TCG expansion I'm doing right now or just leave it? ht14 23:19, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
The spaces are fine. On the other hand EX Legend Maker has less than 100 cards, so all the categoriews should only have 2 digits. Fix all that you changed. MaverickNate 17:13, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
All right. ht14 22:03, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

You've been an immense help here. Sorry that I can't be online here as often as I'd like. You deserve this. First thing though, when you move pages, delink the redirect, and delete it. MaverickNate 23:32, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

Thanks. Understood. ht14 23:33, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

Better idea

Why not just "Z4.png"? CuboneKing 20:59, 11 November 2009 (UTC)

I'm not sure. One, PNG to png is actually a minor thing (though highly recommended). So, technically, I didn't need to move it unless a change to something other than the title is needed. Two, some say sprite, some don't. But for the sake of everything, I guess I'll move that too. ht14 21:02, 11 November 2009 (UTC)

Crystal images

Sorry I have no idea how :D Speaking of which, some kind of bulk uploader would be brilliant, I was being really OCD at the time and spent three hours uploading those, one by one. --Cadellin 09:34, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

It's ok. ht14 23:30, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

Remember what Magnedeth told you?

Don't do that here. That isn't the style for here. Don't put the spaces on the image pages. MaverickNate 02:36, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

? Spacing? Oh that. You said it didn't matter... unless you're talking about un-cat related... ht14 02:37, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
It doesn't really matter, but if you are going to be editing the page anyway, I prefer that it is my style: especially on card pages MaverickNate 02:48, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
I am still very much confused... ht14 02:50, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
That meant quit putting it in. But, if it is already done, don't go editing pages just to remove/add spaces. Just don't have the spaces for anything else you ever edit MaverickNate 02:54, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
You mean between the summary and licensing, right? I thought that's what DETH told me to do... argh... ht14 02:56, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

When you are adding the summaries and stuff

Don't forget about {{unused}}. You have to add that into the summary when the image isn't used on the wiki. MaverickNate 19:04, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

K. ht14 19:04, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
The images still need summaries. MaverickNate 19:07, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
All... got it. ht14 19:08, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
Gasp is right: you forgot the unused. MaverickNate 19:17, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
Don't make me head-desk again! MaverickNate 22:04, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
That means a lot of Template:unused pictures since there are a set of screenshots from movie 8, etc. I understand though. ht14 22:06, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
Ninety-nine percert of the screenshots by episode will be deleted. You should be skipping over those since they will be deleted by the turn of the decade. MaverickNate 22:10, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
Ok, so you're telling me this for an image that will probably be deleted... ok then... I'll handle the non-anime sprites then, or those that don't have EP/AP/DP in the name, etc. ht14 22:11, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

Category:Characters of the day

It lumps together all the recurring characters too. For the sake of organization, everyone is considered a CotD. MaverickNate 13:44, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

Ok... then the category is a misnomer... can't we name it as Anime characters? ht14 13:44, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
Go ahead: you have 460 images to go, starting...NOW! MaverickNate 13:47, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
Ok, that's fine. Actually... I don't know if you're sarcastic. 460 isn't too bad... btw, your delete just explained that those CotDs with pics showing them younger mean that there are 2 pics of them. ht14 13:48, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

Wanna know a secret?

The sprite standard does not have the hyphen in it. MaverickNate 18:58, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

What about the letters? Unless you're talking about current sprite. If not, what about Unown-S? Are we going to label it as 201 s s?ht14 20:24, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
Oh, definitely not. It would be more like "201S s" if anything. And since the alternate-coloration "s" descriptor is always in lowercase, while most one-letter form denotations are in capitals...--Shiningpikablu252 04:51, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
What about beta? ht14 13:53, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

Aychtee I'm gonna KILL YOUUUUUUUU

NO. PARENTHESES. EVER. GOT IT? Alphanumeric! Sigh... I'm really sorry... wait, when did I use parentheses? I'm confused. ht14 00:06, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

Hate to tell you

But Category:EX Dragon had only 2 digits for a reason. It had less than 100 cards, and the three digits were purposefully not used. MaverickNate 04:19, 2 December 2009 (UTC)

Charizard. ht14 04:19, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
Damn, you win. But let this be a lesson to you. MaverickNate 04:25, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
*grins* I've noticed beforehand and I was getting suspicious about the ordering. ht14 04:26, 2 December 2009 (UTC)

"I demand to know who did this" on File:Spr 4p 440.png

That was you. And I know it wasn't intentional, just a botched tagging conversion. --Shiningpikablu252 02:45, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

I know it was me. TTE does that as do Mav. :) ht14 02:49, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

Would be better under <includeonly>, but... seems fine.--Mew a.k.a. Immewnity 02:15, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

glitch images

The reason why I am afraid to move them is that this subpage needs a big file relinking. Some files with non-alphanumeric characters are left in that page. Since you already moved some, would you mind relinking all of them? Thanks in advance, Kevzo8 03:50, 27 December 2009 (UTC)

Yup. I've been doing that, but it's so annoying to handle them all. I'll do it though. ht14 19:58, 27 December 2009 (UTC)

The Archives Manual of Style

...should be taken as a grain of salt. It's so outdated and does not even start to embellish on the current styles we have now. MaverickNate 03:21, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

That's... a lot of files to move... massive changes then... 26(4)+28(2)+more... for Unown alone... ht14 03:22, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

For the help right now on the Sugimori art thing.--Mew a.k.a. Immewnity 22:56, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

No prob... help me out then as "payback" per se. See my userpage for more details. Just tell me what you're doing beforehand. There's so many tasks at hand... ht14 22:57, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
I'll try when I'm done with this Sugimori task. Right now step 4 hasn't been reached in my head; It's a five-step process.--Mew a.k.a. Immewnity 23:04, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
Uhh... ok? I guess it'll be me and RC linked together. I'll live with that... I hope... ht14 23:05, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
I'll try to help, though, remember. This Sugimori task will end up with me literally going on every non-highres file.--Mew a.k.a. Immewnity 23:17, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

I don't understand the warnings...

I have got 3 warnings about categorising cards or something like that. When I am uploading cards, I make sure I choose 'TCG card' at the bottom. I only forgot it once, but I still get warnings, and perhaps I'll be blocked for something I don't understand at all... Can this be clearly said, please? (I'm feeling nervous...) TokoyamiTheDark 02:59, 1 January 2010 (UTC)

Oh, so you're confused. No worries. What I'm saying is that you put on each file the category. As I've stated before, add 2 categories (Pokémon category and expansion category). See the edits that were made to the files you uploaded for instance. The bottom of each file has a section that talks about what categorization the file is in. That way one can easily find it, instead of only in one section (licensing). That part you're doing fine in. Here's an example of what I'm talking about. ht14 03:01, 1 January 2010 (UTC)

Ah, thanks. I feel relieved. The reason I removed a message from my talk page was because it was a duplicate. (Somebody sent me a message long ago, then sent me back the EXACT SAME message, perhaps copy and paste?) If someone would compare both messages, nothing was changed, it was the exact same message, and I thought that was SPAM. Sorry. It won't happen again. TokoyamiTheDark 03:19, 1 January 2010 (UTC)

It's fine. The statement sent is a template (Template:Pleasetag), but Mav says that you can keep going. Just so you know about the file categorizing. ht14 03:22, 1 January 2010 (UTC)

Restoring just to comment

The commenting does not matter. Hell, most of the time I don't even bother with the reason anymore. Restoring an image just to correct what you said is absolutely something you should never do! MaverickNate 00:10, 21 January 2010 (UTC)

I thought it'd be important for referencing at times, but ok. ht14 02:48, 21 January 2010 (UTC)

I got the shot from the episode Bye Bye Psyduck (ep 91). And I had originally saved it as a PNG but it was 400kb in size and the JPG is 1/4 of that. :) - unsigned comment from Ceolwulf (talkcontribs)

Ahh, thanks. Two things now. First, sign your name with 4 tildes (~). Second, Reply on your talkpage next time for consistency. Thanks again. PNG is still preferable though. ht14 20:54, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

I got those pics you asked for. Are they any good? --Hmdwgf 06:52, 28 January 2010 (UTC)

Hi !!!

Hi Ht, I saw your user page and noticed the list of users who are helping (active users). Well, I want to help in improving the archives too. I uploaded a lot of pictures but nowadays, I mostly upload new episodes headers, main characters and their Pokémon team images. I also replaced a lot of old low quality images with the better one. But the problem is that I don't know what to do now. Can you please suggest me something so that I can help you guys in improving bulba archives. I am asking that because I am much interested in Archives than news and bulbapedia. I also edit bulbapedia articles (mostly check the articles for the mistakes and unnecessary stuff so that I can remove it) and submit bulbanews but still I am much interested in Archives. So, is there any thing for me concerned with images? --♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 14:12, 28 January 2010 (UTC)

Hmm. You can work in helping with my to-do list. Are you good with transparencies? That's a biggie around here. Just tell me beforehand, ok? ht14 19:26, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
Ok, what I have to do? Can you explain it in a bit detail? --♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 07:47, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
Do you have GIMP? ht14 13:57, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
Yup, I use it (regularly) for image conversion and for some other image editing stuff. --♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 14:49, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
See this. Work with the game sprites and PBR sprites first. ht14 02:32, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
Oh, it means I have to upload the transparent version of these images. Okay. --♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 03:37, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
Yup. Focus first on 2-D sprites (G/S/C) and their backsprites (II/III (R/S)/III (FR/LG/E). ht14 00:01, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
Okay, but the problem is that I have never used the transparency tool in the GIMP before. But I tried to make an image transparent, here is the sample of it File:Pin001 Transparency Testing.gif.
Well, I don't know that it is a bit transparent or not. If not then please can you explain a bit about the transparency tool. Thank you. --♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 11:27, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
Ash maid.png
Here is another pic for testing purpose. Sorry for putting these two images here but I just wanted to be sure that are they ok or not. So, is that what you meant by transparency? I am waiting for your reply so that I can move on and edit other pics like this one. Thank you. --♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 14:35, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
The Maid image is transparent, the pinball image is not. MaverickNate 16:13, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
Thanks nate, I got it. Can I start my duty now? --♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 17:14, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
It's cool. Go for it. ht14 13:19, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
Aye aye captain. --♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 14:02, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

You can think about this yourself but IMHO the overcast Cherrim sprites should be at 421 and the sunny ones at 421<whatever>. Do you think you could move them?MisterE13 22:46, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

I'm not sure, to be honest... TTE or Mav are the ones to talk to. ht14 23:44, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
I've talked to Nate about the Cherrim thing and tagged them all so I'm sure he'll get to them at some point :P. There's also a matter of Japanese GSC sprites using a format different than the one set by the Echidna. Those are all tagged to go as well so I'd be happy if you could move them thanks.--MisterE13 00:11, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

oh i got them from oh and sorry i forgot to categorize--Lambie 04:03, 16 February 2010 (UTC)

It's all good. ht14 14:38, 16 February 2010 (UTC)

Useless edit

Was this truly needed?--immewnitythemew 02:13, 8 March 2010 (UTC)

Leave me be... I'm trying consistency, but don't worry about it... yeesh... just one minor thing after another. Whatever, I guess I'll stop this cleanup business, seeing as that's what I'm generally here for. ht14 02:15, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
I was just wondering... jeesh.--immewnitythemew 02:22, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
I'm sorry. I don't want it to end like this, but my business... your business, etc. I'll still help you out with anything else needed though. ht14 02:37, 8 March 2010 (UTC)

I am not able to remove the template. There is no option for me to change it, nor can I edit the source. I also do not change the size of the animation. If I were to let's say, resize the gif, the loss in quality would be unacceptable. So if the file I download is 40x40, I upload it the same size. Same with the correct size of 56x56. Thank you. Kamangir 21:51, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

That's odd. The files themselves should be editable as they're not protected... unless you're talking about the actual template itself (which is not what I'm talking about). As for the resizing, talk to ChaudCo. He has it figured out apparently. ht14 22:01, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

Question about tagging

How would I tag an image for deletion? Thanks :D --+ Joeshie + (is Me!) 04:47, 28 April 2010 (UTC)

Put the template {{Delete}} on the file. Why? Which ones need deleting? ht14 04:49, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
Oh moves such as File:Sunny_Day.png where I replaced the old image with a better one. Nate said to tag the ones I replace. Also, how do I link to files without making the picture show?... --+ Joeshie + (is Me!) 04:56, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
Put a colon in front of the file, one. Two, you want me to delete the file you just showed me? But it's being used on the wiki? What are you trying to get at? ht14 04:59, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
Well I was trying to link to it. I meant delete the previous version of that file, the one with the Leafeon on it. That one isn't being used. --+ Joeshie + (is Me!) 05:01, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
Ah. We usually leave them alone. It's not much of a big deal. Any file you want to permanently delete though? That's my question. ht14 05:03, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
Nope. Thanks for all your help! --+ Joeshie + (is Me!) 05:06, 28 April 2010 (UTC)

Hi again. I've been uploading pictures in PNG, and that seems to be okay, but the Archives:Manual of Style says that anime screenshots should be uploaded in JPG format. Which is correct? --+ Joeshie + (is Me!) 03:29, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

That part of the manual of style is pretty much outdated. PNGs are preffered nowadays for anime screenshots and almost everything else. --Shiningpikablu252 03:32, 29 April 2010 (UTC)
MoS is fixed. —darklordtrom 07:18, 29 April 2010 (UTC)
In addition, could you restore File:Wifiplazaart.jpg? You deleted it with the reason "jpg", but the image would have been too big for PNG. Plus, JPG-to-PNG conversion is a no-no.--immewnitythemew 20:28, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
Well, I have uploaded a transparent + png version of Wifi Plaza Art. Can you have a look at it please? If its ok then you can delete the jpg one. Thank you. ♫♪AdyNiz♪♫ 16:26, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
You might want to check File:Pt_Wifi_Plaza.png it's a better quality. JelloTalk 20:11, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
Pt Wifi Plaza.png is crisp, does not have the JPG artifacts, has better transparency etc. and it's already in use. Deleting the other two. UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 20:46, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
Problems solved. Yay. ht14 21:24, 11 May 2010 (UTC)

Actually I got them from I don't know how to capture screenshots yet, so you just better replace them. --Renzo493 08:50, April 30, 2010 (UTC)

All right, then don't upload them... thanks... also, reply on your talk page. It's easier that way. ht14 20:13, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

We did NOT move the Cherrim sprites because we were still debating whether or not the Sunshine form should be the default or not. Just because something has the move template on it, does NOT mean we move it. This is going to be annoying. MaverickNate 18:51, 14 May 2010 (UTC)

But it's on the Cherrim article itself... ht14 21:53, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
Only because M13 kept reverting people to HIS way. MaverickNate 23:22, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
So you're still yelling at me... right? If so... sorry? I wasn't informed of this debate. ht14 02:32, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
Surprisingly, neither was I. You seemed not to understand what I wanted then told me to tag them which I did. I then asked on your talk page for at least 2 weeks during which no mention of such a debate was made. Since you had yet to present me with an objection, I figured that ht's standing as an admin here would place him in a position that would allow him to make the decision. I then asked him to do some moving of Gen II jp sprites and since he seemed willing to move the Cherrim sprites, I moved them all at the same time (since I had been informed that they were all being used in so many places moving them would be a hassle). Thinking that they were being moved, I reverted one person on two pages. I'm sorry about the aggravation this whole incident seems to have caused and am fine with undoing all my relinks if it is deemed necessary.--MisterE13 02:26, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

BW Starters Sprites

What sprites of the starter Pokemon should we keep because there are two of each, the ones with prerelease and none? because the Pokabu sprite used with the name 497.png is fake and the ones I uploaded are from the official prerelease images. --Renzo493 12:35, June 11, 2010 (UTC)

We'll clean it up once we get more info. I understand what you're saying, but what with the lag in BP, I'd leave it alone for now. ht14 12:48, 17 June 2010 (UTC)

My file is a Quilava Eruption attack.--Dominikolo 16:51, 24 June 2010 (UTC)

Next time reply on your own page... ht14 17:41, 24 June 2010 (UTC)

Ummmm, it appears my user and talk page have been deleted? And there is no history on them? What happened?! It took me ages to make that user page... Felinoel 16:41, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

Hmm... see BP, you're looking at Bulbagarden Archives, buddy. ht14 16:44, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

I'm glad that you are helping with the TCG image moves, HOWEVER, stick to the EX series. I plan on replacing all of poli's shitty images, and I just find it easier to upload the new image at the standard name and delete the old one, instead of having the images moved and a new version uploaded on top of it. Is that okay with you? Great work, by the way, ;] MaverickNate 16:51, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

Sure thing. ht14 16:53, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

Sorry about the lack of tags, I completely forgot. Too busy increasing crappy image quality and making things looks neat, haha. $_$--Cubic Question 15:59, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

Next time, reply on your talk page (I started the convo on your page). Second, I suggest you upload the needed files before editing the actual article. That way you can add/replace all the necessary images in one shot. ht14 16:04, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
Noted. Also, quick question that would make my editing easier, how long before I can edit actual image files on the site? Right now I'm replacing them with uniform names that the new files have (Ash_*whatever*), but I never got a response on how long it would be.--Cubic Question 16:13, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
Check your email. There should be a message to activate your account, and that should allow uploading new versions of files.--immewnitythemew 18:27, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

Delete please

Can you please delete the following, I uploaded png and/or reduced-sized versions of them to fit the maximum resolution size. I uploaded them. PKMNADV15.jpg, PKMNADV20.jpg, PKMNADV21.jpg, PKMNADV23.jpg, PKMNADV28.jpg, PKMNADV29.jpg, PKMNADV31.jpg, PKMNADV32.jpg, Kellyn_anime.jpg and Solana_2.jpg --Renzo493 13:12, July 9, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for telling me, but next time, add the {{Delete}} template on the top of the files you want deleted, as well as an explanation in the next parser. ht14 13:57, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

I don't mind if you do anything in the EX era, actually. MaverickNate 03:02, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Unless the images are too small for use, right? ht14 03:03, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
If they are the small ones from the Japanese card database, you know: the ones that are 162 × 226 pixels, they should stay there. I actually don't think very many are actually. MaverickNate 03:06, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
"Actually don't think very many are actually." xD All right, what of the English ones then? ht14 03:07, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
Move them all. Use your judgment to say which ones are bad enough to put the bad image tag on. I'll check them...eventually. MaverickNate 03:16, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
All right. ht14 03:17, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
Anything you get from's card database for images now gets {{i-Fairuse-carddb}}, if that happens to be where you are getting them. MaverickNate 22:22, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
It's not though... it's from the same Yahoo place I've shown to you... anyway, it's ok to take from ht14 22:26, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Oh, I wasn't sure. They seemed to small and uniform for our liking. I would prefer that the only images taken from are to replace any gifs that happen to be in the ex era. MaverickNate 22:29, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Alright... I guess. Let me just upload just one more from that site first. ht14 22:31, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
I mean, you can still use that site, I just want a way to know which ones are from there so that we can replace them later. Template:i-Fairuse-carddb is just a good way because I want every image with that tag to be replaced anyway. You can take more from there, just use this other tag. MaverickNate 22:34, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Well... you could always look at my contribs... but I'll list 'em out if you'd like. I'll tell you on the forums if you give me the word. ht14 22:35, 20 July 2010 (UTC)

About that block...I was handling it myself, so I would appreciate it next time if you could let me finish the rest. Thanks for helping though. (Hope I'm not being rude) JelloTalk 19:12, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

It's fine, I knew this would've happened... ht14 19:14, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

Can I have US privileges back?

Hi, I would like mu userspace privileges back. I will clean up my userpage in one clean edit, and only edit it again every 25 times I edit the mainspace. -DialgaMaster105 20:11, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

Um, no. This is the Archives, and userpages aren't meant for here. You might want to try on Bulbapedia. Jellotalk 20:31, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

Before I do any more, I thought I'd run this by you. Is that how you wanted it? It looks kinda choppy down near the bottom.. ._. --Snowrunt 06:44, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

I know how to use backsprite

However, the one you attempted to point out needing it was a front sprite. It originally was a back sprite but I fixed it because I posted it in the front sprite section. - 050294 05:38, 8 October 2010 (UTC)

Gardenia Town

There's some weird problem. I tried uploading a screenshot, but then a larger version of the original image appeared, which I am 100% sure is not on the photo I am trying to upload. Can you delete it first and then I can upload my screenshot?

Thanks! --+ Joeshie + (is Me!) 22:59, 22 October 2010 (UTC)

Actually, it appears it was a firefox caching issue. *clears cache* There's no more problem! --+ Joeshie + (is Me!) 23:06, 22 October 2010 (UTC)

Okay, sorry, I've made it, because some categories are there and then I wanted to complete these, but now I know, that this would be wrong. thx. Empoleon96 20:33, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

Actually, it's quite alright, you didn't really do anything wrong. We just decided this and prefer it to be this in order to make things easier later on. Thanks. Jellotalk 20:38, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

Hai like two questions.

Hey. So I've been uploading BW attack images from Category:Moves_in_need_of_a_screenshot and I've done all of them but one annoying one which requires a double/triple battle. Anyway, I noticed that some of the attacks have their image listed as none.png and thus don't show up on that list. Is there anyway that I can easily find these attacks that don't have an image but use none.png?

Also, when I start uploading BW images for attacks from previous gens that use gen IV images, should I put the delete tag on those images I replace that don't have the file name (attackname).png?

Thanks! --+ Joeshie + (is Me!) 03:25, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

Ok, in relevance to the first question. I have no answer to that, sorry. You'll have to search for those at the moment...
As for the second question, we are currently planning to implement something similar to the route pages, where we are able to showcase different images per generation, only this one with moves. So, at the moment, you can first request move of the Generation IV image and then upload the Generation V move image on the proper name. So for instance, you can request move of File:Wrap.png (maybe not a real image, just an example) to File:Wrap IV.png. After that's done, upload a file titled File:Wrap.png, and then problem solved. ht14 04:27, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
Don't put delete tags on the older generation moves, we're keeping them for archive purposes. If they exist at (movename).png put a move tag on it so we can move it to another name, and you can upload the Gen V version at a different name. Don't change anything in the infobox, as it should use {movename).png. Someone will move the older image and move the newer gen to the correct name. As for searching for moves with none.png on them, have you tried this? Jellotalk 04:40, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
Sounds good. Thanks for the link Jello! --+ Joeshie + (is Me!) 06:24, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
What about Gen IV moves that change between games? Ex: Between Pt and DPP or between DPP and HGSS? How would the naming go then? --+ Joeshie + (is Me!) 20:27, 20 November 2010 (UTC)

As promised...

What can usually cause edit wars to happen? I don't want to get into another edit war with someone else. Pattyman 04:12, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

When you revert someone more than once. Jellotalk 04:25, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
That explains everything. Also, from now on I'll be more careful about reverting edits. Pattyman 04:41, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
