Since you have decided to help BP with the Gen II shiny sprites, please note that the correct size for Gen II images is '''56x56''' pixels, not 60x60 like the old ones were. If you only could, please also resize them so that nobody has to go through them once more. Gen III sprites (front and back), except Emerald, should be '''64x64''' as well. Please read the checklist when you upload media files, and be sure to tag and categorize all images. You haven't been doing this, and you really need to start. Please categorize them by the Pokémon they are of and by one of the following categories each (only one should be needed):

  • Category:Generation I back sprites
  • Category:Generation II back sprites
  • Category:Generation III back sprites
  • Category:Generation IV back sprites
  • Category:Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire sprites
  • Category:Pokémon Red and Blue sprites
  • Category:Pokémon Red and Green sprites
  • Category:Pokémon Yellow sprites
  • Category:Pokémon Crystal sprites
  • Category:Pokémon Platinum sprites
  • Category:Pokémon Emerald sprites
  • Category:Pokémon Diamond and Pearl sprites
  • Category:Pokémon Gold and Silver sprites

When you categorize them, put the category like this [[Category:Pokémon Gold sprites]] in the edit summary with the Pokémon category, like so: [[Category:Pikachu]]. Please do this with all sprites you ever upload. This will help clean up the archives when it is such a hellish mess right now. Don't worry about the ones you already uploaded, I will take care of those; just do this from now on. Thank you. Moldy orange 00:04, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

Wait! "Category:Generation II sprites" is for categories only; only use the ones I have listed please (with the Pokémon category); even if they appear red. Moldy orange 00:49, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
Thank you!! You have learned well; I know this seemed a little daunting, but you caught on quicker than most! Moldy orange 00:53, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

Hey

If you only could, please also resize them so that nobody has to go through them once more. Gen III sprites (front and back), except Emerald, should be 64x64 as well.
