Welcome

Welcome to the Bulbagarden Archives, Lockheedpryde!

By creating your account you are now able to upload images to help Bulbapedia and Bulbanews. Before you jump in, take a look at these helpful tips:

  • Uploaded images must meet several requirements. Please see the upload form and/or manual of style before you upload a new image.
  • All images need categories and license tags. Save time and fill them out as you upload. There are many different licenses - be sure to pick the best fit.
  • Use meaningful filenames. Make them descriptive so that searchers can find your images easily.
  • Personal images are no longer allowed. Any personal images found will be deleted on sight.
  • If you don't have any images to submit, you can still help out.
  • If you have any more questions, see the FAQ or ask a staff member.
Thank you, and have a good time uploading here!

No personal images

Hello, this is to let you know that as per the manual of style in the Archives that we do not allow for personal images to be uploaded here. If you want, you may instead have a link to another image hosted from a different site, but the Archives is not the place for them. ht14 02:10, 22 March 2017 (UTC)

This is your second warning for personal images. If you have images you want to use exclusively for your User: page, please upload them to an external site. Good sites include puush and imgur. - Chosen of Mana 18:31, 26 March 2017 (UTC)

Linking in the Archives

Hello! When linking to articles in Bulbapedia, instead of using square brackets ([[ ]]), you'll need to use the following format: {{bp|<insert term here>}}. For instance, if you wanted to link to Ash's Pikachu, you'll need to format it as {{bp|Ash's Pikachu}}, not [[Ash's Pikachu]]. If you use square brackets, it will link to an article in the Archives titled Ash's Pikachu, which doesn't exist (it'll show up as a redlink). Other templates such as {{m}} and {{a}} still work as normal because it's formatted to link directly to Bulbapedia. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. ht14 18:05, 3 May 2018 (UTC)
