By creating your account you are now able to upload images to help Bulbapedia and Bulbanews. Before you jump in, take a look at these helpful tips:

  • Uploaded images must meet several requirements. Please see the upload form and/or manual of style before you upload a new image.
  • All images need categories and license tags. Save time and fill them out as you upload. There are many different licenses - be sure to pick the best fit.
  • Use meaningful filenames. Make them descriptive so that searchers can find your images easily.
  • Personal images are no longer allowed. Any personal images found will be deleted on sight.
  • If you don't have any images to submit, you can still help out.
  • If you have any more questions, see the FAQ or ask a staff member.
Thank you, and have a good time uploading here!

File types

When there's an image currently being used on a page, if you want to update the image, please don't upload a whole new file just because the original was a PNG and the file you have is a JPG, like you did with the Serebii.net banner. Just convert the new image to the same format as the current file and upload it as a new version of the same file. Thanks. Tiddlywinks (talk) 16:49, 2 August 2016 (UTC)

Ok, I will do that in the future!--PannenkoekenNL (talk) 16:50, 2 August 2016 (UTC)

Hi

Please read the checklist when you upload media files, and be sure to tag and categorize all images. If you're confused about the requirements for uploading files, have a look at this guide. --ht14 05:36, 5 August 2016 (UTC)

I thought that categorizing them wasn't necessary as many images here aren't categorized but I will do it in the future.--PannenkoekenNL (talk) 08:47, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
Hi, just another reminder to please tag your images, thanks! ht14 15:31, 24 January 2017 (UTC)

Watermarks

I noticed a bunch of DVD/VHS images you uploaded (such as File:Pokemon 1 - Ik Kies Jou Pikachu Dutch DVD.jpg) have a watermark that says "GO C". If this is indeed a watermark and not an actual part of the covers, they should be tagged as having watermarks. Can you confirm whether or not this is the case? If you want to tag them, you can do so with {{bad image|Watermark}}. --SnorlaxMonster 10:04, 5 August 2016 (UTC)

They are indeed watermarks, I will tag them accordingly. Thanks for your explanation.--PannenkoekenNL (talk) 10:07, 5 August 2016 (UTC)

Poké Problem Anime filetypes

As per the Manual of Style, anime screenshots should be saved as .pngs. I would also like the Poké Problem questions to be uploaded as "Poké Problem question" as a standardized filename. - Chosen of Mana 18:03, 6 January 2017 (UTC)

Ok, I will do that in the future.--PannenkoekenNL (talk) 18:06, 6 January 2017 (UTC)

DVD vs VHS

I believe several images you have uploaded and described as Dutch DVD covers are in fact Dutch VHS covers. You will notice that DVD covers usually have the DVD logo, and VHS covers are slightly taller than DVD covers. I've renamed the relevant images.

Additionally, this is an image of a VHS cover that has a DVD counterpart. While the DVD is noted on List of Dutch language Pokémon home video releases, the VHS is not; I would appreciate if you could handle its VHS release and any other related VHS released it might imply. --SnorlaxMonster 13:54, 9 June 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for noticing! I will add the VHS releases soon.--PannenkoekenNL (talk) 16:44, 9 June 2017 (UTC)

Filenames

In the future, please keep in mind that filenames should only use alphanumeric characters, dash, and underscore in file names. (so avoid em dashes, ampersands, exclamation and question marks) --Abcboy (talk) 17:08, 10 June 2017 (UTC)

Ah, okay. I will do that in the future.--PannenkoekenNL (talk) 06:37, 11 June 2017 (UTC)

Uploads

In the future, instead of editing the file to add the summary after uploading, when you are uploading, you can add the summary and license on the summary box. It's much more efficient. ht14 19:15, 17 June 2017 (UTC)

Will do that!--PannenkoekenNL (talk) 19:19, 17 June 2017 (UTC)
