:I have to apologize for being so confrontational here in this post. I felt it was a bit unfair that my edits on Bulbapedia would not count for proving that my account should be trusted enough to be allowed to upload. As it turns out I was wrong, and it is possible to get manually confirmed, which was done by an admin after I raised the point on the Discord.
