Welcome

Welcome to the Bulbagarden Archives, rafael.zinho!

By creating your account you are now able to upload images to help Bulbapedia and Bulbanews. Before you jump in, take a look at these helpful tips:

  • Uploaded images must meet several requirements. Please see the upload form and/or manual of style before you upload a new image.
  • All images need categories and license tags. Save time and fill them out as you upload. There are many different licenses - be sure to pick the best fit.
  • Use meaningful filenames. Make them descriptive so that searchers can find your images easily.
  • Personal images are no longer allowed. Any personal images found will be deleted on sight.
  • If you don't have any images to submit, you can still help out.
  • If you have any more questions, see the FAQ or ask a staff member.
Thank you, and have a good time uploading here!

Image policies

Hey rafael.zinho, just wanted to let you know that we don't take images from other wikis like PidgiWiki. Thanks! ht14 18:29, 11 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I didn't know. It won't happen again. Thanks for letting me know. (And, only because I'm curious, why don't we take images from other wikis?) --rafael.zinho (talk) 18:40, 11 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
No worries. One of the main reasons is that we don't necessarily have that permission from those websites (so this would include fansites such as Serebii), but using from SpritersResource, which is open for public to use, is fine. We should have a compilation of sites that we can access images from, but alas, that has not happened... ht14 18:43, 11 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
Of course, if you had permission that you could use those images from PidgiWiki to upload them onto the Archives, I wouldn't have an issue. ht14 18:44, 11 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for answering. I'll be sure to get images only from websites that let people use their images freely from now on. And sorry about my english. --rafael.zinho (talk) 19:01, 11 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
Actually, in the specific instance of PidgiWiki, we don't want any images from them at all, whether we have their permission or not. Sorry for any confusion. --ZestyCactus 03:17, 14 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

2017 upscale

Curious to know where you're getting these upscaled images from--BigDocFan (talk) 20:59, 19 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

In 2017, TPCi upscaled most episodes from season 1 (EP001-EP017, EP019-EP034, EP036-EP037, EP039-EP051, EP054-EP057) to 1080p. Here's the trailer. The rips I have come from WatchDisneyXD/DisneyNow. I downscaled them to 720p (instead of 960p) so they don't look so blurred. Unfortunately, they don't seem to have the Who's That Pokémon? segment. --rafael.zinho (talk) 22:06, 19 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
Was hoping to help you upload upscaled images but sadly I can't access WatchDisneyXD/DisneyNow--BigDocFan (talk) 08:18, 20 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
I'm sure you can find it on torrent. I don't think I can share it here due to Bulbapedia policies. --rafael.zinho (talk) 12:15, 20 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Dare da EP002

Hi, I wanted to ask what source you pulled from to capture File:Dare da EP002.png. The Amazon JP version of the episode is similar to yours here, but it's still not exact. I wanted to retake screenshots for the Dare da? segments and I would like to use the same source as this image. Minibug (talk) 23:37, 31 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi. That one specifically is from Kids Station. You should look for WinxBloom1980. --rafael.zinho (talk) 23:42, 31 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Jynx images

Could you help edit the error images used on Holiday Hi-Jynx to feature Jynx in its purple redesign? Thank you in advance. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 09:06, 4 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi. I see you already did it. Feel free to ask whenever. --rafael.zinho (talk) 18:02, 5 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
I was provided with the images via Discord. Thank you for your understanding. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 20:56, 5 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Nintendo Classics icons

Hi, I noticed that you re-uploaded the Nintendo Classics icons for the Game Boy, GBA, and Nintendo 64 apps. The link you sourced them from seems to have them as JPGs. Did you convert them to PNGs to replace them? Thanks- The Eggo55 (talk) 02:31, 7 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Yes, I converted them from JPG to PNG, without losing quality. They were taken from this website: https://switch-software-compatibility.nintendo.com/en-US/search?q=Nintendo+Classics. --rafael.zinho (talk) 02:50, 7 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
