By creating your account you are now able to upload images to help Bulbapedia and Bulbanews. Before you jump in, take a look at these helpful tips:

  • Uploaded images must meet several requirements. Please see the upload form and/or manual of style before you upload a new image.
  • All images need categories and license tags. Save time and fill them out as you upload. There are many different licenses - be sure to pick the best fit.
  • Use meaningful filenames. Make them descriptive so that searchers can find your images easily.
  • Personal images are no longer allowed. Any personal images found will be deleted on sight.
  • If you don't have any images to submit, you can still help out.
  • If you have any more questions, see the FAQ or ask a staff member.
Thank you, and have a good time uploading here!

TCG Card images

Hi, Welcome to the Archives, I just wanted to let you know that when uploading images of cards, we have a few conventions that we like to keep, so I thought it would be useful to give you a few pointers:

  • The standard image format for any card image is .jpg, any .png files should be converted first.
  • We have 2 licensing templates that should be used according to the following situations:
    • {{i-Fairuse-tcg}} which we use for physical scans of cards (more ideal, but in practice less common).
    • {{i-Fairuse-carddb}} which we use for digital scans of cards (such as the one you uploaded).
  • This is something that I know will be a challenge, since you are as of yet not autoconfirmed but we only keep 1 image per artwork of the card, and new images should override the old one (English cards are preferred over Japanese, which are preferred over any other language). Right now you cant do this, but if you want to upload such an image over a card we already have, please reach out to a member of staff and we will try to work out a solution :).

Otherwise, I just wanted to say thank you for your contribution, and happy editing :) 4iamking 23:14, 23 January 2024 (UTC)
