:Right now theres nothing really on paper, and there probably should be. This is a discussion we need to have amongst staff and of course any community thoughts and input on the topic are also welcomed. The historic norm has been to use the Zukan artwork where possible and this of course doesn't contain white outlines, whereas press release artwork released by TPCi usually contains them. While unedited artwork is generally preferred, there isn't any rule that this type of image modification can't be preformed, and I think consistency is an important thing to consider here.
:On a personal level, I like it more with them omitted, since most of the Sugimori artwork we have on the Archives doesn't have them and because I can find the outlines to be a bit distracting, and they are clearly not part of the Pokémon's artwork with the Zukan releases art without them but these are my subjective reasons and shouldn't be the reason a decision is based upon.  '''[[User:4iamking|<span style="font-family:noteworthy;color:#FF1493">4iam</span><span style="font-family:papyrus;color:#8A2BE2">king</span>]]''' 15:47, 17 August 2023 (UTC)
