Pokemon Yellow:
I First Got into Pokemon From My Friends in School when I was Really Young, about the Same time it started Airing in the UK. That Means i'v Been with pokemon since 1998 I Believe. My First Games were Pokemon Yellow. I Enjoyed Every Moment Of it and since it Is STILL The Only pokemon Game where You can Get all 3 Starters, It is My Favourite of the lot. Though My Team Was Quite Similar to Other Teams Of the Yellow, Red, Blue Generation With Me having Pikachu, The 3 Starters Evolutions, Venasaur, Blastoise and Charizard Along with Pidgeot. The last Pokemon I Woud have Would have been Either Haunter or Dugtrio.
Pokemon Red and Blue
I Then Played Pokemon Red and blue. Those Games seemed a bit wierd to me at the time since it was the original games meaning I went backwards which was wierd. Although The Starter I Would Pick would be Between Charmander and Squirtle (Since I Loved Them 2), I never Really Experimented With Bulbasaur. My Team was Either Blastoise or Charizard Depending on which starter I Picked for Red and blue, Pidgeot and I can hardly remember the other pokemon I Used. One Must Have been Haunter since I love Ghost types.
Pokemon Gold and Crystal
A New Generation Came out and As All Pokemon Fans, I Was Excited about it though I Didnt Really Know what the new generation Would give us at the time. New Pokmon, New Attacks, Day and Night system, Gender Pokemon And Even New Pokemon Types! As No-One Had Ever Experienced that feeling when a new generation of ANYTHING Comes Out, It Was A Big Shock To Me. Though I had No Idea at the Time Of Release for Generation 2 Of the pokemon that were to be revealed, I Had to Complete BOTH Gold And Crystal To Find out Pretty Much All 251 Pokemon Apart from Celebi Because at the time, there was No Way Of Getting It.
Pokemon Gold Was Very Interesting and Exciting, The Graphics were enhanced from R/B/Y and there was Alot more on offer. Personally, My experience with Pokemon Gold and Silver are Fading Memories. I Dont remember Much About It but I Do Remember Having to start with Cyndaquil both Times as it was My favourite starter back then. I also Do remember having zubat instead of the normal "Trainers Choice" of Pidgey. It Seemed more of a challenge as Zubat was MUCH harder to train, I also had a Poliwrath, An Ampharos and Victreebel (This IS also My Heart Gold Team too)
Pokemon Crystal was A much more challenging Prospect where you had not 1 BUT 2 Regions to Explore, Which Was Much More challenging with 2 regions.
