By creating your account you are now able to upload images to help Bulbapedia and Bulbanews. Before you jump in, take a look at these helpful tips:

  • Uploaded images must meet several requirements. Please see the upload form and/or manual of style before you upload a new image.
  • All images need categories and license tags. Save time and fill them out as you upload. There are many different licenses - be sure to pick the best fit.
  • Use meaningful filenames. Make them descriptive so that searchers can find your images easily.
  • Personal images are no longer allowed. Any personal images found will be deleted on sight.
  • If you don't have any images to submit, you can still help out.
  • If you have any more questions, see the FAQ or ask a staff member.

Manga volume file name

Hi! I've noticed you started adding images for those Korean manga volumes we were talking about earlier. That's great (and on the Bulbapedia side, everything's good) but just a quick FYI about file names: I noticed you uploaded many images at "File:KXX.png" I understand that you were probably just following the example of old images for consistency's sake (since unfortunately nobody's bothered to rename them) but this is not in line with the current naming standards. Going forward, all images should be like:

File:[Name of series] [region] volume [#].png

This will fit most manga volume images. Note that all countries should use the ISO codes as seen in Template:Langtable. So for Korea, this would be KO. The exception to this is English due to multiple publishers existing for English language across many regions. In this case, "VIZ", "CY" (for Chuang Yi) or "SA" (Shogakukan Asia) should be used. In the case of second editions, the first edition should get the "clean" title and the subsequent editions should have "Ed #" at the end of the file name. For example:

File:Pokémon Adventures KO volume 1 Ed 2.png

I'll be checking the volume pages (mainly starting from Pokémon Adventures) and cleaning up these inconsistent file names for now. Pictures

I like how you're uploading move images from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games, but shouldn't those images also be added to their proper move pages on Bulbapedia? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 08:25, 22 July 2018 (UTC)

The template isn't currently supported for GTI or SMD. To my understanding, the staff are planning on making a new template that doesn't require constant updating. I know Lady Ariel has had a go at making that said template, but I don't know what progress has been made besides that. Wowy (talk) 09:57, 22 July 2018 (UTC)

Proper template

When uploading a location picture, remember that there is a template for those kinds of pages to use: Template:Location. Using it also automatically adds the picture to Category:Location artwork. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 08:10, 15 November 2018 (UTC)

Duplicate image

Hey, I was updating the Bulbapedia page on Trainer customization when I found that the image you uploaded, File:SwSh Trainer Customization.png, already existed at File:SwSh Prerelease player selection.png. I was gonna add the delete tag to the newer image and keep the other image (since it was uploaded first), but I noticed that the newer image has a smaller size. Is there a way to merge the two pages and preserve the edit histories? Similar to what was done for this page. I'd appreciate you looking into it.
