Thank you, and have a good time uploading here! |
Hi
Please upload .png files instead of .jpgs for anime screenshots as they are of higher quality. Don't forget to tag and categorize all your uploads. Thank you. JelloTalk 12:49, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
Hi
Please read the checklist when you upload media files, and be sure to tag and categorize all images. If you're confused about the requirements for uploading files, have a look at this guide. --ht14 15:46, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
Metapod image
Is it evolving or using Harden? You uploaded the same image for both.--immewnitythemew 18:13, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
- It's using Harden, I actually didn't know if I could delete the previous image or not, and I didn' want the file name to cause confusion.--Cubic Question 18:18, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
You
No uploading duplicates, unless you are replacing a jpg with a png. Also, you cannot put ==Summary== in the summary box AND pick a licensing tag. It is one or the other, and since you have to put a tag, I hope you can deduce the right decision. MaverickNate 19:29, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
- Unless an image is over the 1080x1080 resolution limit, there is absolutely NO reason why you should be reducing the size of perfectly good pngs. Do it again and you shall be sorry. MaverickNate 21:06, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
- I'm not just reducing the size of the images. I removed a bunch of the JPEG artifacts on the images in question, and reducing the images makes them look better when shrunken down on the page itself. I'm sorry, but I thought I was making things look better. No need to have an attitude.--Cubic Question 21:10, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
- If you're going to shrink the images, then don't upload them. I'm guessing you're taking these screenshots from filb.de? If so then it's not really that much work. Some of the images were fine as they were so I don't know why you went around shrinking them, they're shrunk down on the pages too, so it makes no difference. JelloTalk 21:17, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
- No, I was manually resizing them and re-drawing messy parts in Photoshop so everything would be the same size. :P Probably me just being obsessive-compulsive, though. Again, I wasn't trying to disrupt anyone, I just thought it looked better.--Cubic Question 21:19, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
