Categories

Make sure you add any category that can apply. It helps find things later. For example, Rayquaza is on the cover for the emerald guide, so the Rayquaza category should go on the page. Categories are important, so don't forget to put them in the summary when you upload images. Maverick Nate 20:10, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Ok, thanks for letting me know. Would I just add that when I upload the picture? Thanks. -MasterKenobi 01:16, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Just put them in the summary box whenever you upload. Maverick Nate 02:08, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
I will make sure to do that. -MasterKenobi 20:10, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Please try a little harder. If a Pokémon appears in the image, make sure to put the category in. You've done a good job on Summaries, now we've just got to get the categories going as well. Maverick Nate 16:51, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
I think I just figured that out you do [[Category: What is in the Category]] -MasterKenobi
the text is not going to appear if it is linked as a category. Maverick Nate 21:00, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Moving pages

Moves can be requested by using Template:Move; simply write {{move|alternate file name}} on the page of the file in question. With that said, there is never anything wrong with asking on an administrator's talk page as you did earlier. —darklordtrom 07:48, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

jpg files cannot be renamed as a png file. A new version of that Jessie shot should be uploaded in png format, but that does not and does not ever mean you should resave an old jpg in png format. —darklordtrom 05:14, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
That just went a bit over my head. I tried figuring out how to change the file, but could not... Is there a guide on here to tell how to do so? -MasterKenobi 23:51, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
You literally can't. You need to get the episode, and retake the screenshot, and save it in png. —darklordtrom 02:19, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
Ok, that makes sense. I will make sure to do that in the future, thanks. -MasterKenobi 02:54, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
