About the numbers...congrats. Ht14 19:36, 29 March 2009 (UTC)

Haha, yeah. I copied it off a Charizard that was 006 in its set, so I assumed Natdex. Gimme a break, first time I've touched TCG on any Bulbagarden site. — THE TROM — 20:30, 29 March 2009 (UTC)

Why? He copied my image, deleted it and then put his own rip-off of my image on the website. You should have deleted his image, not mine. --Hmdwgf 21:22, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

I know Hmdwgf has been not good with this situation, but, if he did upload it with an odd name, maybe a move would have been more appropriate?--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 23:43, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
Moves were impossible until about a month or so ago. This image crisis happened like 6 months ago. Maverick Nate 01:40, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
I thought it would have been something like that. — THE TROM — 05:38, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

Please undo Kevzo's revision in {{mv}}. It doesn't work. Tc26 07:30, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Done. — THE TROM — 10:23, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

HGSS Sprites

Yes, the shiny I made myself. I get along in spriting. I have done the new sprite OriginalSeries, AdvancedGeneration and DiamondandPearl. -- Brendon 14.00, 7 July 2009 (UTC).

Hey Sorry About that. I got really carried away. I really new. Sorry :/ - unsigned comment from SPTUDC (talkcontribs)

No biggie. —darklordtrom 01:59, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the recommendations you left in my talk page. I'll have these in mind. See ya next time!

Head images

Licensing tags are not the same as a summary. Summaries describe what the image is, not what it is used for. Check what I did here here. That's what they should be like. Maverick Nate 23:06, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

I'm sure I saw an example otherwise... oh well. I'll trust you. Cheers, Nate. —darklordtrom 01:15, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
It isn't that you saw an example. You saw a mistake that someone uploaded and no one fixed, and thought it was style. Only about half of them are fixed, mostly because no one else does it... Maverick Nate 02:26, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

I am sorry. I uploaded that image and i didn't know that and that "someone" (as nate said) was me who uploaded that pic. I know that Nate told me thousand times that put fair tag on the images but i thought why to put another tag on an image if there is one already. Now, i will try to add the same info as nate did (correction in my pic). I am sorry again. --♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 13:56, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

I seem to have problems uploading a png image, as all of them claimed to be corrupt or have incorrect links. The only thing I could do are jpg, even though it's not the best choice. Any advice on this?

Cc716 03:48, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

I've encountered this issue as well. The advice I was given was:

The server claims that images are empty whenever they are over the 2 MB maximum limit. Scales the images down until you make it under the max limit

I'm not entirely sure if this was the case for the image that I uploaded. How abouts you try again and get back to me? —darklordtrom 10:29, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

I made a typo with Whitney's name when uploading her new Art. Could you fix that please? Thanks in advance. Trainer-c 11:28, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

Done. And to quote my current Facebook status: "[darklordtrom] is drooling over Morty's new official art. In a completely non-gay way." Thank you for locating it! —darklordtrom 11:30, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
Thanks again. The Japanese site just updated with the art for the first four Gym Leaders, and Lance of Team Rocket. I just saw that I screwed up Falkner's name too so that needs to be fixed. Trainer-c 11:35, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

About that Kyogre image, I was able to do what you requested because I actually havn't saved my game since the Hidden Tower. I edited the Hidden Tower page and put the new image up.

Thanks. —darklordtrom 00:16, 26 September 2009 (UTC)

Source: [1], in case you're wondering. I'm only doing the png ones. ht14 01:48, 9 October 2009 (UTC)

I hadn't actually noticed. BTW {{move}} works way better than talk pages. It's two pages less to delete afterwards and categorises the pages to be done in case no one sees straight away. —darklordtrom 05:03, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
Good to know. ht14 21:01, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
I'm just not sure how to cite them... I mean, they're images, and there's a certain format... ht14 00:49, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
{{move|Filename.png}}. Don't bother with the File: extension. So say I wanted to move File:Spr HGSS Morty.png to the name "File:Awesome King of Ghost Pokémon.png". I'd type in {{move|Awesome King of Ghost Pokémon.png}}. —darklordtrom 01:38, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

Newer Version

I just uploaded a newer version of the Desert Ruins in RSE but it appears as the same one... Why? Also what do the numbers mean on recent changes and on recent uploads? LugiaRocks 21:27, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

Here's how the format works for any trainer:
{{trainersprite|Crystal (game)|Crystal}}

Very similar to that of {{Gamesprite}}. Anyhow, it's used also for backsprites. ht14 13:33, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

Other pages

Similar to Candidates for protection, do the following tags deserve a category:

Also, do the following categories deserve updating:

Also, both {{Protect}} and {{Flip needed}} use Bronzor. One of them should change. I'd be happy to do all of it myself, just checking first.--SnorlaxMonster 23:56, 17 December 2009 (UTC)

All three of those templates already have a category, and why would those two categories need updated? They are pretty straight forward. MaverickNate 00:00, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
Sorry, I didn't make it clear enough. I meant like what happened in the Candidates for protection, where it changed like this to make it pretty. I didn't see those categories, but they also need "Prettyifying". --SnorlaxMonster 00:06, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
DeleteTimer is not supposed to have a category, but the other ones should be fine if they were to be updated. MaverickNate 00:10, 18 December 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the help Trom, I really appriciate it. So I just have to type {{delete}} anywhere? And I only have one personal image, that is the one I will be deleting. Thanks again. Littlmiget123 19:29, 2 March 2010 (UTC)

Yep, that's it. Leave out the nowikis, of course, when you tag something for deletion. —darklordtrom 08:59, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
I knew that, lol. Littlmiget123 19:21, 10 March 2010 (UTC)

Question re: Categorization

In looking over the policy for uploading images, I see that it is required to categorize them. I looked on the upload form and didn't see such a place like the 'pedia has. Am I missing something? --The Great Butler 04:54, 23 April 2010 (UTC)

Are you asking where you put categories when you upload them? Just put them in the summary box. —darklordtrom 10:03, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
So just put Category:Anime or whatever in the summary box like on Bulbapedia itself? --The Great Butler 03:23, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
Yeah. Except you need to use square brackets, like you do for links. For example, if you uploaded a screenshot from the anime that had Ash in it, you'd use the category Ash Ketchum by writing [[Category:Ash Ketchum]]. All clear? —darklordtrom 03:26, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

It doesn't wanna show up on Bulbapedia. Just thought I'd let you know... Takharii ~ Talk! 06:23, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

Color templates don't exist here. Archives has syncing issues with BP from time to time. It's no big deal. —darklordtrom 06:25, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
Cool, good thing that you know *fixes sig* Takharii ~ Talk! 06:26, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

Is he blocked here? He's blocked on the pedia. Because I don't know whether Shambori.jpg is allowed. is it? It's a bit... stupid たかはり 11:39, 30 July 2010 (UTC)

He's blocked here. Potentially offensive image is gone. —darklordtrom 01:33, 2 August 2010 (UTC)

Hey trom, categories should be mentioned below the licensing part or above it (in the summary)? Thank you. ♫♪AdyNiz♪♫ 01:31, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

Actually, it's below it, but the uploading thingy doesn't quite allow it... so usually, I add the licensing within the Summary section and put the categories on the bottom. ht14 02:25, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
Oh, I can understand. But I think this pic should be updated with a new one, showing proper guidance regarding categorizing the images. ♫♪AdyNiz♪♫ 07:40, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
It's not a HUGE deal. ht14 21:43, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

Trommy... ~

SA's get to promote normal users to JA's? Really? Because.... I can't find it... just wondering... ht14 22:33, 7 October 2010 (UTC)

Oh, true. Sorry, you actually can't. Not entirely sure what I was thinking. Change the page for me? I gotta run. —darklordtrom 22:45, 7 October 2010 (UTC)

They are always suppressed, with very very few exceptions to this rule. MaverickNate 21:28, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

About my sprite...

Plusle sprite...Sorry!--Pika3323 22:48, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

Winner's Trophy

So I uploaded a badge-esque image of the Winner's Trophy, but I can't seem to get the image to load... am I doing something wrong? Felinoel 11:56, 16 November 2010 (UTC)

It's rather unfortunate, but there is a bit of a delay where the Archives server isn't synchronized with Bulbapedia; there isn't much one can do about it other that wait. Rest assured, though, you've done nothing wrong. «hexagonTHEORY» 12:02, 16 November 2010 (UTC)
What he said. —darklordtrom 07:42, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
