I agree that this should be deleted. It doesn't add anything extra than we already have with File:Pocket Monsters Episode Mega Evolution Special Illustration 2.jpg and has awkward empty space top and bottom as it's a wallpaper, as well as it being way over the standard 1920px limits, which can't be justified here. Same goes for File:Pocket Monsters Episode Mega Evolution Special Wallpaper.jpg. Thespeon196 (talk) 11:28, 20 October 2025 (UTC)
- I also agree with the deletion since the main artwork is the same. - The main counter argument for keeping this seems to be that the "Illustration" files cut off some of the character's heads. Here's an alternate suggestion: crop the "Wallpaper" files to remove the empty space at the top. The "Illustration"s and "Wallpaper"s can then be merged so we only have one file for each artwork in the end, and the artwork can also be shown correctly. (However if we are to crop the files, we will need to clearly mark them as modified.) → SuperPikaPool13 06:44, 30 October 2025 (UTC)
- I can reduce the wallpapers to a manageable size, but I don't see the point in merging them with the illustrations. They were published at different times, and at least the first two illustrations have a different background from the wallpapers, as they lack the large white circle resembling the silhouette of megastones. - I disagree with counting the files as "different" just because they have the white circle in the background. The focus of the file is the main artwork, not the background. If the twitter had posted the wallpaper versions with different background colours, we would not have uploaded all of them separately. → SuperPikaPool13 15:02, 30 October 2025 (UTC)
- I also agree about not counting the files as different. With reference to Illustration 3 and Wallpaper 3, both are practically identical after cropping the wallpaper image. I'm not sure if the head or feet being cropped off in the illustrations is an issue that needs to be addressed, but I'm in favour of having these images deleted unless merging is the better option.
