::Generally higher resolution is better therefore 1920x1080 is preferred, but only up to what was broadcast, you shouldn't upload upscaled images. Downscaled images are still permitted, 1280x720 images are therefore still permitted but the important thing with downscaled resolutions is that the aspect ratio (16:9 for episodes DP121 and after) is maintained.
