Charizardtwo is not a clone of Ash'es Charizard. Charizardtwo is a Pokemon cloned as a genetic expirament along with Mewtwo, sqirtletwo (Blastoisetwo), bulbasaurtwo (Venasaurtwo), and Ambertwo. He makes an appearance in Mewtwo Strikes Back and Mewtwo Returns. In Mewtwo's Origin (unseen part from Mewtwo Strikes Back), He was a very cheerful Charmandertwo but did not survive the cloning process. After everyone was killed in the Laboratory and Mewtwo created his own Lab.Mewtwo claimes he too started with Charmander(Charmandertwo), Squirtle(Squirtletwo), and Bulbasaur(Bulbasaurtwo)but he used their genetic material to transform them into more powerful copies.Charizardtwo is most unlike other Charizards. He is more powerful thus being a clone and has red markings all over his body. One more thing. I wish they'd put the clones in the games as a special event pokemon.
