Sprites

Game sprites are NEVER to be uploaded in JPEG. Any and all still sprites must be in the PNG format, with the exact ".png" extension, and yes, capitalization in the extension is important.

Furthermore, there is an exact naming style one needs to use when uploading Pokémon game sprites. In the case of an alternate coloration Ruby/Sapphire Mawile, the filename must be File:Spr 3r 303 s.png. No deviations.

Oh, and one more thing: If you claim you can't save files in PNG, you're not using the right program. Even Paint in more recent versions of Windows allows you to save files in PNG. ****, the upcoming build of Paint in Windows 7 will use PNG as its default extension! If you don't have a program that can save in PNG, then your computer is a dinosaur, and you should spring for an upgrade ASAP. --Shiningpikablu252 00:54, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
