Images from the internet

Hi, welcome to the Archives.

I just want to caution against taking images from unofficial websites, such as fan sites and walkthrough sites. Images should not be taken from Serebii especially, as they explicitly do not allow us to use their images, though we should avoid using images unofficial websites generally. It's hard to be comprehensive, but a good rule to keep in mind is if the site or social media account is run by The Pokémon Company (TPC) or The Pokémon Company International (TPCi), then images from there are fine. If the site is run by a company which would receive their assets officially from TPC or TPCi then those are fine too, as they would be using those images with permission from TPC(i). Images you obtain directly from official games are fair game too.

Images from places where the regular person can contribute are generally off limits since we can't verify who they're originally from or if they're used with permission from the official companies.
