Welcome to the Bulbagarden Archives, S2daam!

As a new user, you may wish to learn a few things that will be useful in your uploading:

Manual of Style The Manual of Style, or MoS, outlines the format and guidelines of all images on Bulbagarden Archives.	List of Admins All of our administrators are here to help! Talk to them if you have any questions or problems with the Archives.	Tagging Guidelines Tagging images with correct licenses and categories is a must. These guidelines will help you learn more about tagging images.

Miscellaneous

Please read the checklist when you upload media files. The checklist is there to make sure you are doing everything necessary when uploading said media files.
Be sure to tag and categorize all images. This helps organize the vast amount of images we have here.
Check if your image already exists by searching through categories, and Bulbapedia pages. This action will help prevent unnecessary duplicates from appearing.
When adding a licensing tag to anime or game screenshots, please avoid just choosing "Screenshot". This is not descriptive and places the images in the wrong category. Make sure to choose "Screenshot from a Pokémon game," or "Screenshot from the Pokémon anime." This will put them in the right categories, and help keep the Archives clean.
Does your image have a purpose? Will you be using it on a Bulbagarden Project? Avoid uploading images because you think they are "Cute" or "Awesome". That clutters the Archives.
Personal images are limited to two for each User. Personal images include personal logos, personal trainer sprites, drawings, trainer cards and mostly any image that would only be used in the User: namespace and have no encyclopedic value to Bulbagarden and its affiliates. Please tag these with the {{i-Personal}} template for easier organization. Under no circumstance should a photograph of one's self ever be uploaded onto Bulbagarden Archives.
In addition, please upload images with meaningful names. Names that are just numbers, for example, do not describe anything about the image, and can make it difficult for searchers. Names are just as important as licenses and categories, so make them descriptive. Please be sure that the filenames contain alphanumeric characters only.
Due to the many automated templates used on the wiki, lowercase extensions are imperative. That means jpg and png instead of JPG and PNG. It looks cleaner, it works better, and it does not cause any problems. Make sure to always use lowercase extensions.

Crunch image

Could you also add in another frame to the beginning and set it to 0ms, this is so people without apng compatibility can atleast see where the the indicator is pointing. Right now the first frame appears like a blank isshu map. Thanks. —♥ Jello ^talk 23:09, 29 October 2010 (UTC)

Filb.de

While they do let us use their images, that doesn't mean to upload one of their watermarked images. Especially one that has "filb.de" on them. That is their image and we're not going to steal it. Thank you. --Psy_ライダー☮ 19:36, 4 December 2010 (UTC)

Make sure you don't leave any redirects behind, you can uncheck that option that says "Leave a redirect behind" when you're moving stuff. —♥ Jello ^talk 20:26, 2 February 2011 (UTC)

Gen V sprites

Hey, first of all, welcome aboard! Here are few things that you have to take care of:

Edit all the summaries including their names, categories etc properly.
Rename the files if it's being used anywhere on the sites (pedia, archives or news).
Create the missing/red-linked categories for the Pokemon who have been revealed.
Add "delete" or "move" on the stuff that you want us to delete/move.

Just making sure

Thanks for the work you're doing at helping us, but I must tell you, just in case. Please don't move any of the files to the new names, since Bulbapedia is in a lockdown and we can't edit it, the Pokémon artwork won't be shown in the infobox, and we can't allow that in this moment. Scans

The point of my scan list was so that User:Zedbill had a list of what to actually scan and replace with his own scans. Based on the vast size differences between the uploads you are doing, it doesn't seem like you are scanning them yourself. Taking them from other sites is against the rules, and you shouldn't be doing that. Unless you can provide high quality scans that you do yourself, don't bother adding them. ^Maverick _Nate 22:10, 3 April 2011 (UTC)

Shadows
