Welcome!
Hi, I noticed your poster uploads! I was wondering if you could share links for the website where you downloaded the posters? Thespeon196 (talk) 14:37, 11 October 2025 (UTC)
- I wasn't paying attention to the website, and when I went back to look for it later, I found that there was no record of it on the site, so I couldn't find it anymore. 1q2w3e4r (talk) 14:47, 11 October 2025 (UTC)
- Ok that's something to bear in mind for the future, always best to save the link where images are downloaded from for future reference and to make sure that they come from official sources. I'll do some more digging to try and find the source of the Origins poster. I've found a sourced image for the monpoké poster too which I've uploaded.
- Also, the File:Monpoké poster.png shouldn't be uploaded as File:Monpoké logo.png because the logo should be the logo for the general monpoké brand rather than a poster image. You're welcome to add the poster image to the Monpoké Short Animation page on Bulbapedia though, that would be fine. Thespeon196 (talk) 15:07, 11 October 2025 (UTC)
- Please make corrections, as I have modified some of the official posters for Pokémon TV. 1q2w3e4r (talk) 16:27, 11 October 2025 (UTC)
- The posters you've uploaded have been reverted as they are suspected to have been modified, as you've said. Modifiying images from the original source, such as making them larger than the image from the official source, or attempting to improve their quality, is not something we allow here. Please make sure any future uploads are accompanied by a source link too. Thespeon196 (talk) 18:09, 12 October 2025 (UTC)
- The poster is sourced from the cover of a Japanese streaming media platform.:https://tv.dmm.com/vod/feature/?id=f1a374c7-c34b-4875-991d-ed8af88f9a97

- Thank you for the source information. I've reverted most of the posters to the images from your DMM TV source, and also the Journeys poster from Poké Times twitter. Unfortunately the XYZ poster source, CineMaterial, is a fan site so isn't an acceptable source, but thank you for the other images. Thespeon196 (talk) 16:51, 13 October 2025 (UTC)
- This is only to ensure consistency with the original posters; however, they must not be marked with the release date, the list of creators, or the producer’s logo. 1q2w3e4r (talk) 17:15, 13 October 2025 (UTC)

Uploading images at incorrect file names
Hi again, a reminder to only upload an image at the same name as one we already have if it's a better version of that image, and not a completely different image. This is to avoid having images at incorrect file names, such as happened with your upload here.
If you wish to upload a new image which is different to one we already have, please use the Upload form, and choose an appropriate new file name, as well as adding a summary of what the image is, a licensing, and categories. If you have any questions about this feel free to ask! Thespeon196 (talk) 13:09, 15 October 2025 (UTC)

Captain Pikachu
Hi. I've reverted your Captain Pikachu upload at File:Captain Pikachu goggles.png as that image is of the TV Tokyo current main artwork, and so should certainly remain in the same pose. In truth, this is the case for most, if not all, character and Pokémon art. If it has a different pose, a new image you upload should have a different name.
You also did not include any source information, as we have discussed about previously.
If your image is from an official source, which you also provide a link to on the page, you are welcome to upload it separately under the different name Captain Pikachu goggles 2.png, and it can then be included in the gallery section of his page. Thespeon196 (talk) 12:28, 8 November 2025 (UTC)
Block - 1 week
Hello. Despite the advice and warnings from staff about your sourcing and uploading of images here, you have yet to show any improvement, or given any indication that you have sufficiently taken the advice on board.
As a result, you have been given a block of 1 week. This will allow you time to reflect on the advice given on your talk page about our policies and standards on the Archives. Please also take the opportunity to read our Image use policy, Manual of style, and Uploading images help page.
The images you have uploaded which are unsourced or are otherwise are deemed inappropriate by staff will be reverted. It should go without saying that you should not revert these images back.
When you return, your uploading and sourcing of images must meet the following expectations, which are expected of all users:
- Images you upload must be from an official source, and contain a link to that source.
- Images should not have been upscaled in any way.
- You should not revert an image to one which is not from an official source.
- Images you upload should be at the relevant image name, and not uploaded over an image depicting something different to the one you are uploading. An example of this is here.
- If you wish to upload a new image which we do not already have, give it a new name.
- You must not engage in revert wars with staff or anyone else. Use the talk pages of staff or other users to communicate any relevant issues or concerns.
- Images should be given an appropriate title, summary, licensing, any categories, and a source.
Please note that if you do not meet these expectations in the future you may be given a much lengthier block.
Your talk page has been left open to allow you to discuss any issues here during your block period. Thespeon196 (talk) 16:30, 13 November 2025 (UTC)
Animation head images, sourcing, image modification
Hi. The Pikachu shorts images you uploaded at File:PK01.png to File:PK08.png should have been screenshots from the episode rather than cover images from the video on demand website. Further to the point made in the previous message, if the image on our site is a screenshot, any images uploaded at that name should also be a screenshot.
I think most of those images would be fine to upload separately as PK01 cover artwork Docomo.png, for example, and we could find a place to put them on the episode pages. Though a more specific source link to each of those images rather than a google search result should be provided when they are uploaded.
I did notice that your File:PK07.png image was sourced from an image modification site though. This is not acceptable, and so that image should not be uploaded again without an official source.
To be clear, uploaded images should not have been modified from their original, official source. If you fail to do so from this point, you may be blocked for a second time.
Please reach out to staff if you are unclear how to source and upload your images. Thespeon196 (talk) 18:51, 21 November 2025 (UTC)
Your message
What did you mean by the message you left on the user page of one of our staff members? We have Chinese speakers on staff so we know what it says. What are your intentions here? Landfish7 01:02, 14 December 2025 (UTC)
- I hate his appearance. Because he is a despicable and shameless hypocrite. Even if he changes his name, I can still recognize him through some of the materials and links he provided.
- 1. Through communication with Ai Pikachu Eric, helped him conceive the initial idea of building a website.
- 2. Provided stable website content support for half a year, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent development of the website.
- 3. Expanded the human resources needed for the website's development by means of mutual friend-inviting and recommending others.
- 4. Took the lead in discovering the key technical information that "uploading web pages via Google Chrome does not require document verification". 1q2w3e4r (talk) 14:57, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
- Moreover, I don't want to be affected by that person. 1q2w3e4r (talk) 15:12, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
- There appears to be some confusion. There is a staff member from another wiki that you may be thinking of, but that person is not the same as our staff member. If you have a concern, I would suggest politely bringing it up with that other wiki's leadership. Regardless, please be respectful of our users and staff, and if you have any concerns with any particular user or staff actions made on Bulbapedia or the Bulbagarden Archives, feel free to message me or another staff member. Thank you. Landfish7 16:09, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
- The source page of the link to the Chinese logo of Pokémon Horizons is not an official page at all; it is just one of the pages on the website created by that person. http://pokemon-horizon.e.cn.vc/ 1q2w3e4r (talk) 02:56, 17 December 2025 (UTC)
- I don't understand why his content can be included, because the links he posted and his own website pages are without copyright and not official. 1q2w3e4r (talk) 02:59, 17 December 2025 (UTC)

Captain Pikachu new image
Hi, I appreciate your new Captain Pikachu image, nicely sourced from Marudai!
Just one thing, it should have been uploaded at a different name than File:Captain Pikachu anime 12.png, since it was an artwork pose of Cap which we don't already have. In this case File:Captain Pikachu anime 14.png was the correct name because we already have the artwork numbered 12 and 13. I have moved it this time, but please upload new artwork poses at a new name next time. The next successive Captain Pikachu artwork should be uploaded at File:Captain Pikachu anime 15.png for example.
If you want to use your new image on the Bulbapedia wiki in place of another Captain Pikachu image, I would strongly recommend starting a talk page conversation on the wiki page about changing the artwork on that page. Thanks! Thespeon196 (talk) 12:14, 15 January 2026 (UTC)
- Reminder to upload different poses at separate filenames. This time, I have moved the new pose to File:Captain Pikachu anime 15.png.
- Since you have continued to upload different poses at that same filename despite repeated staff advice, you have been blocked from File:Captain Pikachu anime 12.png for 2 weeks.
- Please upload your new images are the correct filenames, and don't hesitate to reach out to a member of staff if you have any questions or need any help. → SuperPikaPool13 10:40, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
Enlarging images
Hi, I saw your Mew UNITE images. Thank you for sourcing them. When I checked your cut-outs of them against the sources however, it seems the method you're using to remove the background or to export them is increasing the resolution of the image beyond the original, which could be seen as upscaling and against our policies here.
For example, the Mew in the source image of File:UNITE Mew Costume Party Style Holowear.png has a height of about 840 pixels, whereas your uploaded image has a height of 1057 pixels, which is a significant difference.
Please can you double check in the future that your images have not been increased in size from the original. My advice would be to check each image before you upload it to make sure it's the same size as in the source material to avoid this error. Thank you Thespeon196 (talk) 23:10, 28 January 2026 (UTC)
警告一下
Please properly credit the source of the images you have uploaded and do avoid uploading images that have been edited. In addition, do not upload different images under the same filename.
传图时请好好表注来源,还有尽量别上传编辑的图。另外,请勿把不同的画像上传在同个名称。--Chao (talk) 01:20, 30 January 2026 (UTC)
Revert warring
Please do not continue to revert war over the Pokémon Horizons posters. It is perfectly fine for the poster images to have text in them, as we would rather have them with text and in higher quality from pokemon.co.jp and anipoke_PR X/Twitter than without text in lower quality from other sources. As such, I have reverted File:Pokémon Horizons Promotional Poster 10.jpg back to the image sourced from anipoke_PR.
I have also reverted File:Captain Pikachu poster 4.png back to the sourced version. Thespeon196 (talk) 10:49, 14 February 2026 (UTC)
Upload new images with a new title
Hi, please could you upload this new image with the title PK04 VOD logo.jpg because it's from PK04 not PK03. It needs to have a new title because it's artwork and not a screenshot. Use this link to upload it.
If you have any questions please ask them here. Thanks Thespeon (talk) 20:04, 4 May 2026 (UTC)
- I've reverted the image you uploaded at File:PK04.png . File:PK04.png should be a screenshot from the episode, not the image of a logo.
- If you wish to upload your image to the site it should be uploaded separately with a different name.
- To upload your image, use the Upload page, browse to the image on your computer, and then name your image
PK04 VOD logo.png - Read the help page for more details.
- Please do follow this advice and upload new images separately with a different name from now on. Failure to do so may lead to your upload privileges being revoked here. Thespeon (talk) 10:24, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
Movie poster source
Please can you give the source of the File:M01Japanese.png movie poster you uploaded (this should really be given when you uploaded it). It's an overly large image which certainly requires it to be from an official source if an exception is to be made in this instance. Thespeon (talk) 15:36, 23 May 2026 (UTC)
- But I’ve uploaded all the posters for the other feature-length films. 1q2w3e4r (talk) 06:17, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
- Yes that's true. I've found a lot of the sources of the movie posters, but still missing several.
- Please could you give the sources to these Amazon and DMM posters you uploaded, as direct links:
- File:M01Japanese.png
- File:M10Japanese.png
- File:M14 posters separate.png
- File:M20 teaser poster.png
- File:M21 poster.png
- File:M22 poster.png
- File:M23 poster 4.png
- For example, for M02, the direct link is
m.media-amazon.com/images/I/A1vhHY5JbuL.jpgas it leads directly to the poster. - I would really appreciate it. Thank you Thespeon (talk) 09:02, 2 June 2026 (UTC)

- Prime Video has temporarily pulled all Pokémon theatrical films from its streaming lineup, but this forum post
- proves all the artwork originates from Prime Video’s official poster links hosted on another streaming platform.

- The versions available on the streaming service are clean cuts. I cannot retrieve the clean poster links for M1 and M2, yet the rest serve as valid proof that all sources check out. Amazon removed the Pokémon theatrical films from its platform, resulting in the inaccessible links. 1q2w3e4r (talk) 10:44, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you for the DMM M14 links.
- If the rest of the posters aren't directly from Prime Video though it was misleading to say that they were in the edit summaries.
- I don't doubt that the movies have been on Prime either now or in the past though.
- How about this: since DMM has all the posters in good quality, I'll upload those posters instead for M01, M10, M20, M21, M22, M23, and give a link to their source as I upload. That way they're good quality and properly sourced. If you can then keep an eye out for when these movies return to Prime in the future, and then grab the posters with their Prime Video direct links, and then you can upload those ones with the link in the upload summary to the Prime source.
- How does that sound? Thespeon (talk) 11:34, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
- The issue is I’m unable to source the links from Amazon, as the titles were temporarily taken down. This means I can no longer locate the artwork posters or access their original URLs. I only saved the poster images previously without backing up their links, hence I cannot provide them now. 1q2w3e4r (talk) 11:41, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
- I understand, but the posters shouldn't be uploaded without the links. If the links to the posters on Prime become available again sometime in the future, you can then upload the Amazon posters with their links. The option I suggested of uploading the DMM posters I have instead would mean that the posters would then have accessible sources now. Thespeon (talk) 11:51, 2 June 2026 (UTC)

Untitled discussion
It is recommended that user EricLovePikachu be thoroughly investigated. He has previously run unlicensed websites and repeatedly used randomly spliced copyrighted materials without authorization.https://pokemon-resource.vip/ 1q2w3e4r (talk) 12:14, 2 June 2026 (UTC) All his uploaded content lacks valid source links for copyrighted works. The shoddy website he set up today even received a copyright warning from Nintendo. Therefore, please take definitive disciplinary action against all his uploaded files. 你能帮我检查一下我写的英文句子有没有语法错误吗? 你还会哪些语言? 你是如何学习语言的? 1q2w3e4r (talk) 12:16, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
- The Chinese text below is likely a typo, but I recommend you look into this user. 1q2w3e4r (talk) 12:21, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
- First of all, calling for disciplinary action against another user is not something we allow here. Please be mindful of calling out other users. If staff find any issues with any user or their uploads, the appropriate action will always be taken.
- Though a reminder that things which happen outside of Bulbagarden, Bulbapedia, and the Archives should not affect matters here. Thespeon (talk) 12:38, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
- It wouldn’t have been an issue originally, but he came here on his own to upload content. His previously created website already drew a legal warning from Nintendo’s legal department. Whether his postings are copied from official sources is irrelevant; the key point is his publications violate regulations given the prior Nintendo legal notice against him. 1q2w3e4r (talk) 12:48, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
- If you have concerns/specific violations you would like to bring up you can use our contact form to share them and we will investigate but this will never play out in public places. If you do, please do send the source where you think the image is pulled from and explain the nature of the violation as that will make it easier for us to evaluate the specific claim. 4iamking 13:23, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
- It’s not my suspicion; his website actually received a legal warning from Nintendo. He keeps violating regulations by altering content and images without authorization and misappropriating various materials. 1q2w3e4r (talk) 14:02, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
- Well, if you can point us to evidence of this as well as content/image alterations that would make evaluating any violation much easier. Also when I say a source, I mean where you think the original (unmodified) image is located and what modifications were done after. The more information we have about what actually went on, the easier it is for us to evaluate and take action if necessary. I'm gonna ask though that you stop uttering accusations against others on talk pages and use the contact form I provided earlier instead as this is starting to turn into a Code of conduct violation. 4iamking 14:15, 2 June 2026 (UTC)

Partial ban
Due to your refusal to use talk pages and/or provide sources after repeated requests, I have considered your image uploading history and blocked you permanently from editing File:M01Japanese.png. As a wiki project, Bulbapedia stands for collaboration, and assumptions of good faith in others, this trust is broken when someone repeatidly tries to force in this case their preferred image without discussion or compromise. In the future if you find yourself being reverted I encourage you to bring the issue to other editors either via their own talk pages or the talk page of the page in question. Also, especially considering that you have been given minor sanctions already 3 times in the past, consider this a warning as if you continue down this path, it will lead to harsher sanctions against your account in the future. 4iamking 13:13, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
