Welcome

Welcome to the Bulbagarden Archives, Chaogotchi!

By creating your account you are now able to upload images to help Bulbapedia and Bulbanews. Before you jump in, take a look at these helpful tips:

  • Uploaded images must meet several requirements. Please see the upload form and/or manual of style before you upload a new image.
  • All images need categories and license tags. Save time and fill them out as you upload. There are many different licenses - be sure to pick the best fit.
  • Use meaningful filenames. Make them descriptive so that searchers can find your images easily.
  • Personal images are no longer allowed. Any personal images found will be deleted on sight.
  • If you don't have any images to submit, you can still help out.
  • If you have any more questions, see the FAQ or ask a staff member.
Thank you, and have a good time uploading here!

Misnamed files

If you ever accidentally upload an image with the wrong filename, please mark it with the {{move}} tag, instead of uploading the same file again with a different title. If you have any more questions, feel free to reach out to any staff member. Thanks! → SuperPikaPool13 14:57, 6 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Koraidon Miraidon box art

Hey, just letting you know that I've reverted the Koraidon and Miraidon images back to the officially sourced images from the Scarlet Violet site, as Lewtwo's archive source is unofficial. The shadow also appears to be part of the image (for better or worse!) as it's also on the Pokémon itself! Thespeon196 (talk) 20:31, 27 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

I understand :) Chaogotchi (talk) 08:09, 29 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Raikou Sugimori art

Hey, it's not a huge issue but thought I'd mention that the Raikou image that you uploaded recently is ever so slightly not square, if you wanted to re-crop it Thespeon196 (talk) 21:46, 9 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

ohmygosh Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I'll fix the crop in a bit :) Chaogotchi (talk) 02:59, 10 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

TCG card image reversions

Hi, I wanted to let you know that I've undone the reversions you recently made to four TCG card images. Wherever possible, we always prefer an image or scan of a physical card, as digital renders are not always going to be a true or accurate reflection of the physical card. If an image or scan of a physical card is unsatisfactory for any reason, the {{bad image}} template can be used with the needs= parameter to properly categorise the image; however, with these four in particular, they all appear to be satisfactory. Hope that makes sense, please let me know if you have any questions. Cipher (talk) 17:04, 18 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Duplicated summary header

Hey, just a quick tip! To avoid the duplicated Summary header when you upload a new image, make sure the header you add reads == Summary == (with the spaces), rather than ==Summary== (without the spaces). The header itself can also be left out completely and will be automatically added by the software! Thespeon196 (talk) 00:47, 23 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Image resolution

Hey there, just a gentle reminder to keep images within the resolution limit of 1920x1920 where possible, particularly for exceedingly large files. File:Snorlax Playhouse.png was 5659x5145, which was so large that it failed to create any thumbnails, thus rendering the image unusable on the wiki. (I've replaced it with a version within the resolution limit, so no worries about replacing this one, it works fine now.) Cipher (talk) 10:01, 30 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

SSBU press images

Hey, have you got a link to the press kit where File:Spear Pillar SSBU.png and File:Unova Pokémon League SSBU.png are from, and if possible the filenames too? Thespeon (talk) 10:56, 4 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

I unfortunately don't have access to it. I got it from someone else who did.
I believe the link was https://press.nintendo.com/User/LogIn but it is no longer publicly accessible anymore. Chaogotchi (talk) 23:39, 4 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
