B2W2 Mom image

Hi! The Black 2 White 2 Mom image you uploaded is much higher quality than the other versions we've had of it, so I'm curious as to where you got it from. Would you be able to post a link here to its source? Thespeon196 (talk) 22:01, 21 April 2025 (UTC)

Hey! I don't have any big reveal or anything, I just image searched the previous picture and found a very high resolution version taken from what appeared to be an artbook on a korean encyclopedia. It didn't have any signatures, just "mama" in katakana, I reverse searched that version to try to find an author or more art but i didn't find much. Iremoved the background and uploaded it. Thanks for explaining. I think I found the site where the image came from. Whilst I appreciate the intent to improve the images on our site, we shouldn't be taking images from other fan sites to do so, because we can't verify that they came from an official source (as well as other potential issues with licensing).

Duplicate images

It looks like all the Hiroshima 2025 images you uploaded this week were already uploaded back in March. I recommend in the future taking a quick moment to double check whether or not images exist. It can prevent a lot of double work on both your part and that of admins later who will have to delete/relink said images. It probably doesn't happen often, but it's still good to check. ^Maverick_Nate 00:26, 22 September 2025 (UTC)
