Instead of reuploading images that already exists, please use {{move}}. It's easier. Kevzo8 14:55, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, but some of them are different one since previous ones are of bad quality. Tc26 15:19, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
Hmm.. but those images I recently deleted are recognized as "duplicate file" from those of yours. If I'm not mistaken, that means it has same quality, size, etc. Kevzo8 15:24, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
Rotoms are, others aren't. Tc26 15:25, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, the Rotom forms. That's what I obviously meant. Kevzo8 15:26, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
Oh, and you also mis-tagged the re-uploads. THEY ARE NOT FROM THE JP DEX!!!--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 15:37, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Teacey, use the move template please. It's more organized and easier, rather than reuploading them and using the delete tag. Thanks, Kevzo8 07:13, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

How to: extract pics from SWF files?

What app do you use? I've been trying to find a program that does it well. (only one I found takes 2 random pieces)--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 22:27, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

Avoid using it in file names. It causes problems. So, no more hyphens, tildes or any other types, mkay? Maverick Nate 16:17, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Oh, I thought that was with the original file names. Tc26 02:37, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Movie Character Pictures

It's you who uploaded them, right? You stated that they are from I searched the ENTIRE site and couldn't find them. What specific page are they on? Or maybe they were removed with latest redesign? --Maxim 17:22, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

This is why everyone needs to put on every image where they got it from. Maverick Nate 17:26, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Imported by BulbaBot

And all those others. You can get rid of that. No need at all to say anything about that when all images are here. TTEchidna 03:53, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Also. You can go ahead and remove the species categories for the pages we're tagging with the new templates-- they autocategorize by species name. TTEchidna 08:14, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

It means 1,000 pixels. So, unless you got the pic from that one site, 1k doesn't work. See here.--Mew a.k.a. Immewnity 22:11, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

Don't forget

Category:Location artwork please Maverick Nate 11:06, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Question: When do you actually place that? Many pics have "locations" but they don't really use the template. It's kinda confusing. Tc26 11:48, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
I know, I typically put it on anything that applies. It also probably depends on how we are using it...are we using it to show of the location? or are we using it to display an event, or certain characters. I added them to the new Gym screenshots because we are trying to show off what the new gyms look like. That's the best I can think of, so I hope it helps. Maverick Nate 13:58, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
Thanks! Tc26 08:30, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

Would you be able to get artwork of Kate and Kellyn in their normal ranger clothes? All we have are :File:Ranger II - Characters - Girl 1.jpg and File:Ranger II - Characters - Boy 1.jpg. Maverick Nate 18:55, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

You mean the ones as students? I can try to erase those parts background. Tc26 01:14, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
Okay, cool. Maverick Nate 01:16, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
I'd rather find nice clean one, but there aren't any. Tc26 01:17, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

Part 2?

Uh, how can I help you? Kevzo8 12:01, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

New file names basically. As you can see here, old art's being preserved as well. After asking TTE, they have a name format too. You can see it in the first nine Pokémon there. Tc26 12:06, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
Ah, okay. I'll do it. But, what part 2 do you mean? Are you gonna upload early Gen II arts? Kevzo8 12:11, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
That's part of it. Tc26 12:12, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

Okay look...

When an admin changes an image, is best that you don't revert them. You've been here long enough to know that. The Roark image I uploaded was a screeshot I took from a DVD. It was of much higher quality than the one you took from Filb. DVD screenshots are preferred over screenshots from Filb. Please, let's not have this misunderstanding again. --Kenji-girl 22:55, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

What is the problem? It's fine on my end.--Mew a.k.a. Immewnity 20:25, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

You've got admin! You now have the power to move, delete, block and protect. Use it wisely, and try your best to help clean out the archives. And lastly, don't screw up! =P MaverickNate 02:47, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

Thank you very much!!!!!!!!!! Tc26 02:50, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

Quote from TTE

"UPLOAD TRANSPARENTIZED CUSTOMS IF [YOU WANT] TO KEEP THEM" Don't know why he told me to tell you. Ask him if you don't understand, because I am no help. Also, as a side note, AIM is gooooooood. 03:27, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

I think he means the custom sprite need another set of updates. Tc26 03:49, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

Moving files

Make sure when you move a file, you don't create double redirects or make broken redirects. Thanks. - Kogoro | Talk to me - 02:45, 13 September 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I was going to fix them. Tc26 02:46, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
You also should delink and delete redirects. MaverickNate 16:06, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
Sorry, thought we kept certain ones. Tc26 09:18, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
For like, bag sprites we do. But for things that are misspelled, or wrong in some sort of way we delete them. I guess you're judgment is just as good as everyone's. MaverickNate 20:04, 17 September 2009 (UTC)

Wow that's amazing!

Where did you get this high-quality image? If you don't remember, just say so.--Mew a.k.a. Immewnity 19:32, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I don't quite remember. Sorry. Tc26 02:46, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

Decide between Spr:3r_119.png and Spr:3f_119.png. ht14 20:38, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

Are BAD! Don't create them. Deleted any that you do creat, excerpt for sprites. All screenshots do not get redirected. MaverickNate 16:53, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

Only did that because 'pedia was not editable. Tc26 10:19, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

Wow, that didn't go well at all... just for future reference... what did I do wrong? Was the file just too big or something? (Yaminokame 11:39, 11 December 2009 (UTC))

I think you jut forgot to crop it. Tc26 11:53, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
Ah, I just noticed that. haha I didn't notice it had a white border when I took it from the website >_< Thanks again :) (Yaminokame 11:55, 11 December 2009 (UTC))

I forgotted

Where do we get the temp images?--immewnitythemew 15:19, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

Official Japanese Pokémon site (for HD size) or TV Tokyo. Tc26 17:14, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
Can't find the TV Tokyo one... link please?--immewnitythemew 18:44, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
Here, I guess. Kevzo8 04:35, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
That's the JP official site one; I can't find the TV Tokyo one!--immewnitythemew 02:08, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

Hey tc, can you explain that why are you uploading same images that I already uploaded? and why are you deleting my images and replacing them with yours? --♫♪AdyNiz♪♫ 12:30, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

A file for the move already existed, and so I placed it there, kinda for history purposes. Tc26 12:33, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
What about Ice Punch image and Water Gun image? I uploaded it first (and there wasn't any pic with that name) and you deleted it and then you uploaded exact same image with a different name. Why? --♫♪AdyNiz♪♫ 12:36, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
I was talking about Ice Punch (see Buizel's article's history). As for Water Gun, I didn't see it, sorry. Tc26 12:43, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
Well, you deleted my water gun pic and you are saying you didn't saw it. Isn't it a bit strange? You should have deleted your image instead of mine because mine one was uploaded first and you totally saw it. I don't want to be rude but that is totally not fair. ♫♪AdyNiz♪♫ 12:49, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
I am sorry (my apologies), I thought you deleted water gun image but you deleted the ice punch one. Water gun image is still there and I'm sorry for blaming you (it was a misunderstanding). I'll try to check things two times before saying anything. --♫♪AdyNiz♪♫ 12:54, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
I also didn't know, so no problem. I was kinda at fault too... and the faulty server. Tc26 15:44, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
No problem (thanks for understanding me :D and that faulty server really caused a lot of troubles today). --♫♪AdyNiz♪♫ 16:15, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
And why'd you delete my Movie 13 Zoroark pic? I was planning to use that to create an article for it! RikutheGreat 15:02, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
That was an extremely low quality jpg. Anime screenshots are supposed to be in png format anyway. JelloTalk 18:16, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

Cropped pics

When the new Pokémon Ranger episode has aired, can you find the full images for those pics you uploaded? Hopefully you won't forget this message when the episodes air. --Hmdwgf 10:35, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

Summon and summon charge are the same. The sprite looks to me as if it's a summon charge, meaning we're missing a summon, and the current "summon" needs to be moved to summon charge. I'll wait for your confirmation to handle it, or you could do it. ht14 18:51, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

Either way you summon it, it's the same thing that appears. It's not wrong. Tc26 02:08, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
Really? Seems different, but ok. ht14 20:57, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

Sprites for Black & White Starters

Hey, I got the front sprites of the starters, but I'm unable to upload them because it says you protected them. So, if you could do something, that would help. :) Supernicknobros 20:58, 14 May 2010 (UTC)

Nickno, I have the same problem. --Manaphreak 21:44, 14 May 2010 (UTC)

There's a reason for that. So you don't upload them without getting approval. We don't want you uploading LOW QUALITY JPEGS or stuff that's NOT SIZED RIGHT. But apparently it's clear that protecting means to you "welp better find a way around it". TTEchidna 22:06, 14 May 2010 (UTC)

Hey Tc, I've been trying to upload a pic of a Pokemon book I just scanned myself, (HowToDrawSinnohHeroes.png) but it's not working. Any suggestions? Should I put it on Photobucket and you upload it? Thnx Takharii ~ Talk! 07:06, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

Is the picture in png itself? Because it you might be uploading something in a different format and placing it as png in Special:Upload. Is it too big in terms of file size? Tc26 07:10, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
Yes it's a .png, but come to think of it, it is really big. I'll try shrinking it. Thnx for the advice. Takharii ~ Talk! 07:13, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
No problem, and nice scan by the way. Never forget the 2MB file size limit here. Tc26 07:23, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

New rule

No image is to be uploaded over the maximum resolution size of 1080 by 1080 pixels.--immewnitythemew 14:45, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

Why though? And don't blame me for lower quality images since they're normally 1280x720. tc²₆tc26 05:37, 3 July 2010 (UTC)

Certain images.

Hey, you know those images you uploaded of Misty's Staryu a while ago from AG? Well, I noticed that they're at a really odd resolution, and the images themselves seem very stretched out when viewed in full. The odd resolution sort of fucks up the thumbnail and template sizes, so I was wondering if I could resize them to a more normal resolution for the 4:3 images we have, like 640x480. I'm asking because the images are pretty huge, and you're the one who uploaded them.~★ cubicQUESTION 06:26, 8 September 2010 (UTC)

Sure. They were from the Mirage Pokémon DVD, but I don't remember the aspect ratio. tc²₆tc26 10:52, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

M14 images

Why did you delete the originals to upload your own versions? There's a thing at the bottom of a page called "Upload a new version of this file". I love using it.--immewnitythemew 01:55, 4 December 2010 (UTC)

Next time you protect

Give it a reasonable expiration date because 3 years is too long. It's not like you can't go back and reprotect if it hasn't been revealed within the year. Thanks. --P S Yライダー 13:25, 21 May 2011 (UTC)

Hello! I uploaded file: 58Growlithe OS anime but i accidentally messed up the file's name and forgot to add the 0 before 58, think you can help me out with that one, also would you mind also changing the name of 110Kofffing OS anime to 109?? Thanks! --LHakaLH 18:47, 18 September 2011 (UTC)

Just though I'd let you know that you don't need to delete an image if it's unsatisfactory, you can upload a new version by clicking "Upload a new version of this file". This keeps the image's history intact too. XVuvuzela2010X 13:06, 19 November 2011 (UTC)

Hey, where do you get HD pictures? Please reply :) (sorry, I'm from Poland) --Rafi862 (talk) 16:17, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
